Not really right Fourth Estate

19= 3-0 looking at winning the flag

15= 0-5 looking at 0-6 and looking at Div4 again, oh and playing players in the B grade

Well kickinit, seeing as 3 is well before 15, I think you have just won the prize for stupidest comment of the day.

Pretty sad if you finished 3rd out there you must have robbed some else of a few votes or did the folks from the retirement home fill in the B&F forms for you after you paid for their meal at the club.

Pooraka very ordinary from what I saw on the weekend - they don't seem to have the cattle. Could be a long and unhappy season for them unless they can turn things around quickly

Athelstone Flogged Mitcham could have been even worse with Athelstone having 44 shots on goal.

Can anyone comment on this game? i thought Mitcham had hit some form over the last couple weeks and this would have been a very close game.

I went out and watched the Mitcham game on the weekend and fair to say Athelstone dominated all day. They were clearly more hungry for the ball and were more desperate at contests. It doesnt help when Mitcham have so many outs but still that isn't an excuse. They will bounce back this week with some key players to come back in...I think you may see at least 5 A grade players from last year come back into the side who are key players...
I will say this though, I love a bit of footy banter between sides and the OCCASIONAL humerous comment directed at the opposition team...but to the feral Athelstone supporters who sat club side at mitcham and said the same old, lame, boring comments all day long at every opportunity they could should just wait because a footy season is a long year and im sure it will come back and bite you. I dont think it was necessary using that sort of language around children and around the family area at the club...i did enjoy one comment though which was directed at Mitchams ruckman "Shrek called and wants his arse back"...Poor man has had all confidence shattered!!
