Why would that have any affect, they finish at around 4.30pm training (unless on out phase and work an occasional pm shift) and have weekends off

I think the SANFL forum said he was training for the STAR Force, if that makes any difference. I think he's already a copper.macca 21 wrote:locky801 wrote:kookas wrote:Have heard a rumour that Brad Dabrowski could be playing at Goodwood Saints this year, might depend on his police training though.

Your right. They finish dead on 5, weekends off etc. Shouldn't be a problem. Even after he's finished at the academy, still will not be a problem ...

It's the starforce, not the SAS. They are not secret at all.
Selection involves a one day tryout, followed by a 4 day try out about 2 months later.
Both are hell. Based on the SAS selection criteria and they break you, badly.
The only way it would interrupt his footy is if he decides that it is too big a risk getting injured playing in the leadup to the 1 or 4 day tryouts. And in the week or 2 following completing the 1 or 4 dayer - he won't be walking too well for a while. Other than that he can play the season and should be in better shape than normal.

Meningie would be getting pretty close to the end of their points I reckon, they just can't keep on bringing in new blokes @ 3 points a time.
