well done i think a great idea
kilburn is going back to them and saying yes and also on return leg finishing the A grade game under lights
would be a top day
Good luck to them and wish them well in 2008

Nice idea, but I can't see many C graders getting up early enough. There's always a few players who play Cs because they work until after midday on Saturdays. It would create more of a club atmosphere and increase crowds though.

You could come up from the Ds & help the Cs out Andy!
The club needs the crowd, atmosphere & turnover to pay the players their incredible match payments they've been promised in 2008.

I might have to mate. If the Cs start before the Bs, I'll be starting my D grade match before the sun comes up.

Don't get him started football follower. Every player at every other club plays for squillions, while Seaton doesn't pay a dime to the club hoppers that make up their team. They all play there for love of the carpark/sandpit.

It's alright for NM to be parochial about Seaton, they didn't kick him out like Henley did!

Bit harsh mate! What about Pt Districts? I think the two of them are more like a see saw, one goes up the other goes down.

Numbers at training on Tuesday were about 50 and were now training a third night a week in separate groups. How are the other clubs going?

50 isn't that surprising. We would have had that many for a few preseason trainings last year and consistently the year before that. Officially just one African Danny at the moment who played last year but another one decided to join in the running barefoot.

I think we need to recruit them as supporters. The mound men on one side of the oval and them on the other. Would be fearsome!

Do the stats include the 2 years Pt Districts stayed in div 1 because SHOCs wanted to stay down?

We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.
