Heccies looked to have picked up where they left off last year, early favourites will be hard to beat.. appears Blackfriars and Elizabeth will be tough also, and St Paul’s knocking off Trinity is an interesting result.

Elizabeth only got up by two points. What makes you think they’ll be tough to beat???
Also were Marion really good? As I thought Mawson lakes had picked up a few decent recruits and would be very competitive?

Houghton wont be pushovers this year, there is some quality in their 1s.. I would've had them favourites on paper before Saturday.

Hearing from one of their guys on Saturday that they still had 4-5 A graders to come back in.
Also the same with Elizabeth missing 5-6 Agrade starters due to a wedding.
This div will certainly be close come the final round. Can’t wait!!

I think Houghton, Blackfriars, Marion and St. Pauls might think a little differently.

Elizabeth were a surprise packet for me, I think other leagues shutting down along with a couple of other factors have helped them form a pretty strong outfit.

There will be plenty of surprises this year no doubt. All clubs to make the most of the short year.
A flag is a flag, Although it’s still a long road no matter what div.

Think you will find that Blackfriars will surprise the lot of you very good outfit. May lack depth in the 2s if the injuries pile up, definitely will be a contender imo

Houghton vs St Paul's - Houghton by 3 Goals

Blackfriars vs Mawson lakes - Blackfriars by 6+ Goals

Marion vs Elizabeth - Elizabeth by 3 Goals

Hectorville vs Para Hills - Hectorville by 8+ Goals

Trinity vs Ingle farm - Ingle farm by 5 Goals

Only a guess but see what happens.

Hectorville will beat para hills by 30 goals.
Para hills going backwards fast. Will not win a game.

0 wins is a big call!!
The weather is looking like it might keep the loss to under 10 Goals..
If Hectorville kick 30+ Goals I'll be very surprised.

Certainly wasn’t expecting Trinity to get the win and win very comfortably by the looks.
Did Ingle farm have a full side??

I’m not involved in Ingle Farm senior footy these days, but a quick look over the team lists would seem TOS had a few handy additions, and Ingle Farm appear to have quite a young, inexperienced side at the moment.

Getting games into the youth will hold the Farm in good stead for the future no doubt and certainly positioned well for later this season and leading into 2021.

One of the few clubs that appear to be thinking long term this season and not chasing short term success.

Not this grade Bedge, but i think you find Hope Valley trying to get some games into the kids as well, while a few senior players aren't playing.
