*a-hem*

Excuuuuuuse me - but it was a big massive spider WASP, EATING a huntsman, it ripped half of the spiders legs off mafia-style and then carried it away!

Im a bit sad about that huntsman - he used to sit on top of the fence every night. It's like saying goodbye to an old friend :( ;)
Don't play games with a girl who can play 'em better...

Just noticed this old thread.

Back in the 90s there was a short period where Adelaide Uni reserve side played in Div 5 rather than in Div 1 reserves. This meant the A1 reserves side was Uni's third team and the Div 5 team was the second team. The idea was to give the reserves team full length matches in case players were needed for A1.

The reason I know this is because my old man was the A5 coach. That particular year, Adelaide Uni finished runner up to a very strong Lockleys side and beat a very strong West Lakes side in the preliminary final.

So my conclusion would be that the best sides in Div 5 would be about the same as the best reserves teams in Div 1 but the best reserves teams in div 1 would beat the mid to lower sides in Div 5.
