We had 2 GFs at Hope Valley last year

The Weslo staff told me they had both only finished work in town at 8am and pretty much came straight to the ground after having something to eat

They took it in turns of sleeping in the car and "couldn't be bothered" searching cars

Money well spent

They told us that as well and we simply walked past them with our eskies! Best security guards i have ever met

weslo people have no authority at all anywhere or anytime to stop a member of the public going about their activities [ and as that charging people money to enter a suburban football ground is not a "normal" activity then cannot stop anyone from entering the ground ] all they can do is call the cops. you don't have to 'obey' them in any shape or form

Was OK at Alberton everyone went upstairs and then just walked down the stairs. Everyone was phoning each other to tell them and the League would have missed out on absolutely plenty of coin. Only themselves to blame as a reasonable fee and everyone would have paid the entrance to get in. Guessing over 300 people would have done the same and the rest came in through the Bowling Club. Guess thats what you get when you set unrealistic prices to get in. Was funny watching everyone walking into the Port Club and then up and down the stairs. Hir Shadiac and Co would have been having kittens if only they knew what was gone on

Was better than Gold watching everyone coming up and down the stairs or through the Bowling Club. Dead set over 300 people easily would have done it maybe more. Was funny watching everyone ringing their mates to tell them how to get into the ground. About 5 Grand they missed out on due to being greedy

Could easily have been 400 or more people getting into the ground like that NM. Just beautiful to watch. Hir Shadiac will be seriously pissed when he finds out though Crowd of 1200 or so and 400 got in through the back door. Thats what you get when greedy. Reasonable fee and everyone would have done the right thing

No lone ranger NM, you and 399 others. As said if you are greedy then people will jump fences or find alternatives to get in the ground. A reasonable price and people will walk in through the gates and pay their money. Easy one really if the Powers or "Power" to be used their brains, everyone would have been happy, which sadly they are devoid of on a whole range of issues.
