So who is likely to confirm this, surely not the perpetrator of the problem?

I have heard rumours about something that almost happened and have contacts with in the club in question. So I am sure I will find out exactly what happened just not willing to comment on something until I have the full story.

I very much appreciate the clarification Moz but i gotta say personally this is one of the saddest incidents i have ever heard of. I am normally over opinionated but words cannot express my dissapointment in hearing about something like this. Im going to leave this one to be dealt with by the powers that run the game but needless to say this requires a very thorough investigation.

Of course, now why didn't I think of that!
Are there any "caravans there pulled by horses" with many ugly women draped in "fools gold" and men sellin' liqueur in unmarked bottles?

'apparently' the guy was sent off by the umpire (for what im not sure) , went straight to his bag grabbed a knife put it in his sock and was waiting to go back on. Someone was able to intercept him before he was able to take the field.

It was a guy playing his first (and last) game for the club my source informs me

Geez, see if you can find out which direction he's heading, not sure any club would want him. I hope he paid for his shorts & socks.

Yes it was his own team that stopped him and they contacted the police in regards to the matter and as far as I know the police have spoken to the player in question.

Leaving something with the powers to be is a worry as a few clubs have found out over the last 12 months with investigations and the Tribunal. Some very disturbing reports of things not being all that rosy at HQ regarding Investigations and the Tribunal.

Well done to the Gaza footy club for playing host to what was a very good game of Football. The match had it all...lead changes, flukey goals, plenty of run, lots of passion, a good size crowd and a nail bitting finish. It was nice for a few of our boys to be able to have a beer after the game in the Eagles lare and be made to feel welcome. Also impressed me to see so many guys from Gaza back at PNU when i eventually got back for our presentations. Including the C grade coach of Gaza. Its a credit to both teams that both of us had a red hot dip but when the final siren went we continued the C grade legacy of re-hydration with beer immediately after the game.
Looking forward to another good contest next time around at Payneham.

Has any result been achieved in the 'knife' incident? i would have thought a quick outcome would be best for something like this?

Having seen every side now this year i am willing to give my premiership prediction  Im going with Gepps Cross to get the chocolates this year. IMO they are the most dangerous team we played this year (albeit with 17 players) Looking forward to seeing them again in a couple of weeks and hopefully having a much more competitive hit out at our home ground. I have noticed that old amn Payney hasnt been playing as of late. Is anyone able to shed some light on that one? Anyone else got their C1 2010 PREMIERSHIP PREDICTION???

Look its great to see Ovingham back on the park but again a result like this, what about the sides that got the mercy 60 point rule earlier getting something back here, we all know u cannot predict a result or margin but there are sids her that have probably missed out on a lot of percentage and it could well have a say in the finals make up come the end of the year
