yeh i think the recovery is going well. he was very confident during the year that he was going to be very fit by end of the preseason. made a bet with me for a carton who will win in a 2km race. risk free bet there :lol:

Smithfield is proud to announce the Senior Coach for 2010 will be Joss Den Engelse.

We would like to thank Paul Oldacre for all his hard work and effort he has put into the club over the last four years and wish him all the best in 2010 and beyond. A great bloke and has contributed to the club greatly.

Is this a playing coach's role, Bondy? He might pull some mates from SN if it's the guy I'm thinking.

Yes Ace, it will be a playing coach role. Not sure at this stage about that but always possible.

As far as i remember, you werent shot down by anyone from Smithfield. I think noone just replied about it as we were waiting for the right time!!! LOL!!! but i may be wrong!!!

Yes, it is the same guy that played for Salsbury North Div1 last year and many years before that.

If you're a wingman or halfback, look out. He'll rip you to pieces, goes allright in Div 1 so should be a big hit in Div 5
