I thought that having made the finals, they deserved a team listing or maybe even a mention. Not everyone can be a League player, some people are happy to be B-grade players because they know their limitations - but they cannot keep the Budget as a souvenir of playing in the finals because the reserves players aren't there.

Its hard enough getting the A Grade teams out of the clubs

apparently the budget lads and laddettes are putting all proceeds this week towards the breast cancer research foundation, much like what Greenies did a couple of weeks ago. i don't know the details but they're selling them on game day i think and everything goes straight there. they cop a bit these lads but they are helping...

much thanks to Luke and those at the budget for helping us out with the free advertising page, even though we couldn't sell it this year!!! and the donation you put in for us. keep up the good work!
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

Great to hear that a group of lads and ladettes are selling the Budget over the final series with part proceeds going to Breast Cancer.Look out for those pink shirts .
Lets hope that the rumour that a certain A1 club is not happy about them selling the budget at their ground. As they want to make the money for themselves !!!!!!!!!!
It would be great to see all amateur league clubs, officials and supporters getting behind this worthy cause.
Well done to all involved. :D :D :D

Oh my goodness, that's got a bit of a smell to it! Not "in the spirit" of the cause one could say.

Yes not only Pooraka and Payneham but Eastern Park as well , very disaapointing that some of the Amateur League clubs decided to downlaod the budget and sell it for themselves ,and showed no support to the sellers of the budget who were trying to raise money for a great cause, lets hope this weeks finalists teams support it !! :( :(

Unfortunately I heard after just the cost of paying for the budgets alone, the guys lost 400 - 500 on the day, very disapointing.

Fisty - the Budget will be on line early tomorrow morning. This was done purely to ensure clubs could not download the
Budget and sell in direct competition to the Breast Cancer Foundation. It was unfortunate that it had to be done this way
BUT sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to help such a worthy cause.

You will be able to view on line tomorrow mate but Copyfax are under strict instructions that they are not to print off
copies for anyone. Geez if you cant cough up $3 lousy dollars for 48 page book where all the profts except the $1 for printing
goes to the Breast Cancer Foundation and maybe kick a few bucks into the can then its a bit rough.

Remember - it may be your or mine or someone elses mother, sister, grandmother or daughter who has this shocking disease
into the future and then people will be screaming for some assistance financially. Generally they will ask the Government for
another hand out. For a change - take care of the situation yourself and kick in and dont expect others to do it for you in your
time of need that may occur into the future

Just got word back from 5aa that Cornesy & Rowey are onboard with this as far as giving it regular "airtime', and may be interviewing a lady from the Foundation discussing the importance of fund raising that goes towards research for this incidious disease.
Many thanks to them too!

cheers guys
yeah that is crap if clubs are gonna do that
shouldnt have to come to that

Could well be a relative mine in years to come
so lets hope the cash that the foundation makes finds a cure so in years to come we dont have to see people go through such pain.

If you got your facts right about Eastern Park the club did not print any budgets off for the game and the only copies sold were from the pink dudes. Just on that before you mouth off and bag a club do some homework, for eg find out how much we raised for the mens cancer research a few weeks earlier you might be surprised.
