Unfortunately they don't.

Yes, for most, the bar is the biggest money maker, so it's important to make sure it is well patronised during the year.

However, if you can aquire memorabilia, auctions and raffles of them can work out pretty well. Just have to get my missus to relinquish that cricket ball signed by Warney...

Exactly, we had a poker tourney at our club 2 weeks ago, as a fundraising stunt, we auctioned off wax-strips and waxed the hairiest bloke in the club, made a few hundred dollars out of and it was a huge laugh for all but one person.

Thats sounds like a great idea... but unfortunately i could be around the mark when it comes to the hairiest guy hahah

Ditto, the re-growth is driving me nuts, luckily one of the players girlfriend works at essential beauty, she organized it and fixed up the mess.

Christ, you'd want about fifteen free beers to numb the body before going through with something like that.

Well I didn't have to buy a beer for the night, the first strip went for $80, that went straight down the middle of the chest, a few people wanted the armpits and the nipples, they fetched between $20 and $50, I kept thinking of the 40 year old virgin during the week leading up to it, but it wasn't that painful.

There was a club a few years ago that had fundraising stitched up beautifully.

1/ Raffled a Harley Davison motobike @ $20 ticket, sold plenty and the winner just happened to be a close relative of the organiser.

2/ Growing dope in the ceiling of the clubrooms, God knows how many crops they sold before the joint caught fire one night and burnt half the place to the sh*tter.

I used to laugh when I'd see the tickets on shop counters around the area about 3 months after the raffle was drawn.

Moster the stuff's stolen... ;)
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Whats a Moster??

A moster garage sale is related to where the Moster family normally park their cars but as times are tough, they've decided to sell the garage and leave the cars out in the weather.
Sounds dumb but logical!
