Good win for the Phantoms on Sat - Back on track now I see. Always seem to struggle against TTG out at Pertaringa. Always have since they were last in Div 1.

With half the minor round games behind us, is anyone willing to predict the the grand finalists for the D2 and D2R and the two teams to be relegated?

I rekon that would be a hard task as the results are all over the shop - you would only be tippin with ya heart still at this stage.

Probably Phos reserves to make the GF since they are undefeated.

I'll stick my neck out and say Gepps and Modbury as a smokie to go up (although phos prob a better all round side) but if Modbury get home finals they'll be hard to beat. And to get relegated...SPOC and SMOSH.

SMOSH's campaign in tatters with Porplyzia heading overseas (if it wasn't already). Should be enough to halt any signs of a late season fightback and see them return to Div 3.

Thought you would have been on by now blowing your own trumpet BM. Must give respect and praise when it is earned and the Gepps boys certainly served it up to us on the weekend. PHOS had no answers to the style and desperation of the Gepps boys and the scoreboard actually flattered us due to your poor kicking for goal. Sure looked like you had done your homework and your match with TTG should be a good one.

From what I've seen of every side, TTG will win the flag in a canter. They are bloody good!

No need to get on here and rave on I will let Gepps performance do the talking. Was a good effort considering the recent history and the number of players we had out. Thought the magoos put in a good effort as well. Will be another good game this week v TTG. Big call RRR.

Yeah its just my opinion, obviously things can change with injuries etc. Gepps are a very good running side and well drilled also, should be a cracking game of good attacking footy between those 2 sides. If Gepps get Campbell back for the finals it will make a lot of difference to their side also.

BM. Did the boys celebrate a liitle more than usual Saturday night given it was the first time they had beaten a PHOS-Camden A grade? TTG probably the quickest side going around will take some catching. Gepps X perhaps the second quickest. The next challenger who knows. Modbury has the best run home. PHOS are hot and cold. Woodville South and Scotch are close enough if good enough. PHOS, Woodville South and Scotch all play each other in these final rounds. Is it true that Modbury coaching staff were using a megaphone to give instructions to players during a game recently?

Barbara, if Modbury were playing Kilburn maybe the KDF loaned the Modbury coaching staff their megaphone??

Saw PHOSC V Gullies at Camden Oval today. Gullies are very impressive, pencil them in for promotion.

The old SHOC boys have thrown a spanner in the works of few teams in the last couple of weeks with finals aspirations!
