dunno if he's gonna be gettin paid, but from talkin to him he's had enough of travelling and wud rather play locally and has a couple of cop mates playin at heccies, plus played for us a couple yrs back. will make a nice addition to our forward line. can't see too many opposition backlines that will be able to match up on the four talls of bentley, olsen, howson and shultz.

He did a preseason with us when neagle and partridge first came out, but i think bridgewater offered him around 300 a game so he took it. Never got to see him play, but he's a big lad. You blokes would have to be a walk up start for the GF now with that forward line.

James Bentley doesnt play for free mate, the amount of years he's said he'll come out to PNU and then ended up elsewhere for the dough... expect to fork out some dollars or he'll magically disappear...

Green from Wingies to CLG by all accounts.

Scott Matthews to stay at Trinity.
The club may lose a number of peripheral players though - travelling.
Had good numbers out on the training track already.
Fitness tests prior to Xmas.

so they finally found a home? they have been ringing quite a few clubs, heard they basically want to run their own club within a club where all their players will play together in a C grade no matter how good they are.
