And well done to Lodge btw. very classy unit. They are gonna make it very hard for us to win the cup in a few weeks time :p

The word on the street is incorrect, he organised it while he was playing for EPFC at the start of the season. Nice try though.

Browny would have done enough to hold his spot (best players), does that mean Gatto comes back through the 'B' grade!

Wow, it's quiet on here without all you Brahma boys posting ;)

What's everyone's thoughts on the Footy Budget Teams of the Year actually playing a game?

Div 2 v Div 3
Div 4 v Div 5
Div 6 v Div 7

You could have the 3 games starting from 12.15pm, make them 20 minute quarters with no time on. I know it would be hard to get everyone to commit to play and you would need some emergencies to cover that, but I know I would definitely go and watch...

I like the concept S Demon, the only problem would be when to play them.

would be great concept for sure ... think people would be quite surprised at the standard of the lower divs ... from outsiders that have never played div 5 6 or seven have seem to think that its full of useless footballers. Might not be cleanest football to watch purely from a depth perspective but the team of the year would be full of very good footballers !!! Id pop in for a look for sure.

I know when i was playin in this comp id put my hand up to play for sure ...

Semi Final 2, Hectorville v Brahma Lodge- Huge game. A taste of what is to come 2 weeks later.

Semi Final 1, Elizabeth v Rosewater- Elizabeth must be scathing from last week loss and I expect them to bounce back at home. I would love to see Rossies get up in an upset though.

BTW, this is the first time all year where I haven't been on for 3 days and I've haven't had to travel back 6-7 pages to see my last post! It's quite convenient actually. 8)

A very humble man is Big Rowie, can certainly play.

How the hell do you get crook when you 9 foot 14 tall? Must be all that thin air up there is leaving him light headed.

Is the big fella a smokey for the medal???
