Disappointing end for us, sums up our season really.
Zobes is going again next year, shouldn't lose too many and got our eye on some very handy inclusions... hopefully finals action for AL in 2011. we have certainly matched it with all teams this year. But not for four quarters.
FWIW - Brahma to win flag IMO

Glad that Zobes is going again....unless of course he is poached by the 7:30 report for his Latham tool comment on Q and A on Monday night....

Could have asked the same question re the Gumeracha boys on the Footy Show..

The A grade losing has also had the result of probably sending the B grade back to Rosewater next week for the first final.

A frustrating year...hopefully all concerned stick together and gain some self belief..because that is all that was lacking

Great game by the Hope Valley Magoos today. Heccies and NH getting up meant we had to win and the boys showed some great fighting spirit to get up after being 2 goal down halfway through the last. Looking forward to another crack at BL next week. Should be a beauty!

Bad luck to our A grade. Showed fighting spirit to the end after a season desroyed by injury. Watch out for the Demons next year, I have no doubt they will be a force!

Good luck to all teams playing finals next week.
We are a drinking team with a football problem!

And well done to our B grade shifting into top spot with a huge percentage one of the highest iv seen from a side that has lost 3 games. Theyve got a bloody good side and with McEvoy back from injury, have to be raging favourites for the B grade Flag

raging favourites????? i reckon too..... good side....

well done valley boys showed some fight and kept us to second spot, bit disappointed with Plympton and not being competitive today, woudn't surprise me if rosewater took you guys out...

i must admit valleys must have the best home crowd support (some were weird) in the comp with spurring the their team on it felt like a 19th man out there and it was hard to get over the top of them at times but full credit to the young lads, defiantly be a force in a few years if they can keep there crop unlike previous years..

If Brahma Lodge get to play home finals then it will just prove, once and for all, that the league is more concerned with the $$$$$ in thier pockets from clubs than suitability of grounds for finals.

We saw it last year with Pulteney (for different reasons) and if BL are allowed home finals we will all see it again.

If the league wasnt happy with the standard of rooms supplied we would give the away team our home change rooms and we would use the temporary ones to get ready. We got changed in Atco huts for a couple of seasons up at Golden Grove so i cant see it being an issue.

Looks like Elizabeth A and B grade will be split up next week.

Because BL are the higher finisher, their B grade follows them.

Elizabeth B grade will end up at Rosies if they buy a home final.

That'd suck...

It would have sucked for Elizabeth having been split up - which I've since learned they're not as I hadn't seen a magoo's ladder.

Elizebeth V Plympton round 1 has come into play. Plympton have scraped in on percentage and would have missed had EFC kept the points.

Plympton haven't won at rosewater for a long time so advantage rosewater at this stage for the elimination final.
