Hopeless Valley? Geez, we're getting creative now. I don't reckon anyone from Hope Valley
has ever heard that one. But I guess that must be new to a club that's
been in the comp for 5 minutes. You can just picture em all sitting there in the changerooms
laughing when they first thought of it....

Hey CJ. Do you know anything about Bates that plays for Mitchell Park? (i.e. on baller, tall forward)

You should read some of the posts, I have already told Ash I was wrong and he was right. And yeah next time ill wait and see before i jump with both feet in. As you said taking the foot out of the mouth.

Also with quotes, i see that there seems to be a few problems, does everybody find there having a problem with quotes not working? I had to fix the quote from me that was quoted by The Ash Man then by Dutchy and now well it all looks hacked.

Go you Demons. Good win by the boys. Mitchell Park went the biffo from the first bounce and before they knew it we had 5 goal on the board. Played well.

I wish Wayne all the best, I coached juniors at Ingle Farm as he did for many years. Good to see he got them over the line in his first outing with them at home. Best of luck Greeny!

Re: Croydon game

Postby blacks27 » Mon May 28, 2007 11:02 am

West Croydon were absolute toss bags... They kept up with us for the 1st quarter then started with the 'action' behind the play... it's sad to think kids on the side watching their old man and aspiring to play for the same club are learning to play useless dirty football... umpires did well in the game but didn't watch behind the play which wasn't acceptable.. Croydon would be alright if they cut that crap out but a 20-25 goal drumming was nothing less than what they deserved! no respect for clubs like that and i hope the kids that play actual footy in that team have enough common sense to get out or kick the useless hags out, no one is intimidated by that shite, it's quite a laugh really, especially when your 20 goals up and they're still having a go  pathetic... Well done to our b grade too we're starting to play some good football all round.

On another note i see houghton got up, wonder what the oval was like? any comments on the game?

Mitchell Park tried similar tactics against the valleys. They targeted key players. The knocked 2 blokes out in the 1st quarter, one didn't return to the field. I reckon they must of had 4 or 5 send offs. West Croydon should go back to Div 7 where they belong and after saturday's effort, take mitchell park with them!!

Yeah Mitchell Park were disgraceful. Those sort of tactics get you nowhere. As dutchy said, by the time they had knocked our second bloke out, we were kicking our 4th goal, and that was in the first 5 minutes of the game. They won't make finals playing that sort of crap.
I'm proud of you fellas. You all kept your head on a swivel, and that's what you gotta do when you find yourself in a vicious cock fight!

hectoville were dreadful on saturday. most embarrasing loss ive been involved in at the club. not one of us came to play on the weekend. houghton weren't that good- we were just shocking! bit of a reality check for us. when we play our best footy its without doubt good enough to beat the likes of blackfriars and golden grove. hopefully we can get back on track and cement our spot in the top 3.
blackfriars looking in ominous form at the minute... will they be 18-0 at the end of the minor round???

Called this at the start of the year, I have no doubt Blacks will win the premiership undefeated....and like i said before somebody please prove me wrong!

If Golden Grove is there biggest threat then they would be laughing, they have them covered easily!
