Some people are shit, that's why. We had our cricket bags ransacked in an association match at Pooraka a few years back, it was a horrible feeling.

In a perfect world perhaps....but in lieu of.....common-sense would be a shopping bag.....keys, wallets, watches,....locked in a car boot...keys in coaches pocket.....home or away... :)

I thought that was the norm and has been for some time. Smithfield had a numbered pouch made up so you didn't end up smoking someone else's pot.

That happened to my team once at Pulteney, wasn't half obvious when someone borrowed money on the way to the game to get a powerade and was on the piss after the B Grade match.
The perpetrator was sorted out and left in the city without a cent, pre-mobile phone days too. He never came back out.

Walkerville's team managers of both the A and B grade have a very good system. They have blue bags with velcro at the top with the players number on the outside. Once all the bags have been handed over to the team manager, they are locked in a car ( when playing away ) and locked away in a disclosed room on home games. Good system as I used the bags when I umpire the B grade.

at pooraka we have 40 small bags for As Bs and Cs so number 1-40 all marked put ya wallets phones etc in the bag then goes into a big bag and team manager then stores it for the respective grade

I'm not being a smart arse but how did the wheels fall off so quickly?

Made 2 grand finals, and 2 prelims in the last 5 years and havent had a valuables bag!

A bit grumpy there mate. I thought you guys had an abundance of off field support.

Can/Will Harvey kick 100 goals again this season?

When was the last time someone kicked 100 goals in back to back seasons?

Will he? More than likely

The real question is can he win the free carton of red tins on the channel 9 SAAFL facebook site for lucky player of the round?

I would've thought you only need the IQ of a fridge magnet to work after kicking 31 in 3 rounds and has to play Brahma again it's fair to say he is going to kick another 100.

Nah, best way to negate his influence is to put a champagne glass in close proximity. He'll do the rest
