Ahh yes, you know it was a good day at the office when you wake up sunday morning and your t-shirt, jeans and shoes are all sticky from doing "strawpedos" all night with lolly water drinks!![]()

Was told they have not got a coach for the fourth side and a lot of the older players have retired, can anybody from the gullies confirm this. Maybe they will have to talk club legend in Peter Martin to coach again, he always seem to take it on when they need him.

Was a good solid night and what was encouraging was that we didn't have mass numbers leaving the track with "niggles" (torn heart strings). Don't think I saw any actually. Well done to the boys for putting in the hard yards. Gotta love pre season.
Wonder if I can call in tonight for a sicky tomorrow...saves waking up in the morning!

Definately going to be tough for these old boys especially when Resthaven only allows them to leave the home once a week to attend![]()

Should be some good tests for us. Noarlunga's top 20 are playing a country league side first up, then their 20-40 players are playing our A's then the rest against the rest. Or something like that, not sure on the exact logistics. Should also be fun playing Adelaide Uni, their D grade is much vaunted and their A's made the GF in this Div last year. Can't wait!
