All good lads.

Steve and Harley were both 2's players for us. Tyson is a very talented player and got the odd A grade spot. Get him fit and he could be anything.

So far Weekley is the only player we have lost from our A grade side from last year. Shame he is worth 5-6 players though!

Kudos to Bourke tonight, he gave us a floggin. I for one prolly lost a few kilo tonight alone and was feelin too stuffed on the way home to get the usual KFC or HJ's to get it back! Still too wrecked now so am gonna go crash without tea. Thanks for gettin me into shape boss :) Scary thing is I still need another 100 nights worth :P

Was a good solid night and what was encouraging was that we didn't have mass numbers leaving the track with "niggles" (torn heart strings). Don't think I saw any actually. Well done to the boys for putting in the hard yards. Gotta love pre season.

Wonder if I can call in tonight for a sicky tomorrow...saves waking up in the morning!

how is Ingle Farm travelling in pres-season? quite a few ins and outs for some clubs, team to beat Glenunga of course, heard that Mawson Lakes have only just starting training? surely they will be playing catchup in fitness, especially the older blokes, might struggle?

Was told by a Ex - gullies player that they might only have 3 sides this year, means there "c" grade side would be in c1. Was told they have not got a coach for the fourth side and a lot of the older players have retired, can anybody from the gullies confirm this. Maybe they will have to talk club legend in Peter Martin to coach again, he always seem to take it on when they need him.

Mitchell Park are playing composite Noarlunga A/B/C sides on Saturday 12th March - venue TBC but likely at Noarlunga, then Adelaide Uni at The Den on the 19th, followed by an internal trial on the 26th.

Should be some good tests for us. Noarlunga's top 20 are playing a country league side first up, then their 20-40 players are playing our A's then the rest against the rest. Or something like that, not sure on the exact logistics. Should also be fun playing Adelaide Uni, their D grade is much vaunted and their A's made the GF in this Div last year. Can't wait!

Definately going to be tough for these old boys especially when Resthaven only allows them to leave the home once a week to attend :D ;)

you'll find that the uni side will have players from c-g grade in it as some of the c grade players will be in melbourne for the annual trial v melbourne uni blacks. will be a decent hitout though.
