What do people think of the chances of Para Hills continuing their fine form and the Magpies from Salisbury?

For history sake the Hills were bagged at the start of 2007 when a lot of ppl on here said they couldnt go up again as the leap from 5 - 4 was too big.

Salisbury I believe have never been above A3 in the clubs history since coming over from the CDFA. Is this right Pag??? Exciting times for the magpies if so, they have some of the better facilities in the SAAFL and particularly the oval under foot is superb!

Lets not forget the club thats been quiet in Flinders Park, apparently they have a lot of blokes returning to the club in 08.

The whisper is Para Hills have recruited very well, and are quietly confident of making an impression in D3.

We did that with them last year, as we did with a few other clubs. Works well.

Young Milton is a funny bastard, plays with Port Magpies and will join you boys when not picked. Not much of him but the lad can jump - in his words "I can play any position or all at the same time" funny lil bastard.

Milton played in our Under 18 Premiership last year, is stick-thin but has an unbelievable amount of natural ability. Should be at Port most of the year.

Yeah A3's as high as we've been spent, spent three years there from 04-06 and played in one final. Facilities are good but they don't win you games of football. Quietly confident we'll handle ourselves better than we did in 06 when we only won 2 games.

And the triple-header idea worked pretty well in A4 last year, I know we did them, as did Portland, Para Hills and Mitcham. Is a good money-spinner for clubs if it gets sorted out early enough.

Nice idea, but I can't see many C graders getting up early enough. There's always a few players who play Cs because they work until after midday on Saturdays. It would create more of a club atmosphere and increase crowds though.

You could come up from the Ds & help the Cs out Andy!
The club needs the crowd, atmosphere & turnover to pay the players their incredible match payments they've been promised in 2008.
