good fight in the a grade but after half time we ran the hounds out, didnt help the hounds with howie getting red carded for the game in the second quarter with a high smack in the head, should be missing a few weeks. wotton was great early untill hayes tagged him out of the game. brahma just top on percentage with valleys next week and heccies playing plympton be a tight finish

Yeah 3 really good games of footy. Coombs in B grade had close to 40 touches, 35 ineffective but doesnt matter ;) Well done to the C grade, getting the choccies after a few weeks of been competitive without any luck. Ben Clark took everything, if his kicking was on he would have had 9-10.

Thought Micky Hayes was excellent on Wooton when moved to him. Shut him down well, while getting some of the ball himself. Tim Aloisi was very good, Bellman was awesome again with Dan hickey and RV in the middle. You were ok yourself unknown.

Wouldnt have been possible if it wasnt for the water boy. Some quality delivery of the H2O, no-one went without!!! Good bloke he is!!!

I guess that explains why he was so exhausted

well done to brahma yesterday. they had two periods in the 3rd n 4th quarter where they scored a few quick goals that really hurt us and we missed too many shots at goal.

makes it very interesting for this weekend. heccies v plympton and hope valley v brahma lodge. IF both teams win, its going to come down to %. both wont be easy matches. hopefully for us, its rains a bit this week and bogs up hope valley oval and im sure Team FC will help us out

fido just to put you straight on geppy, unless you were in the coaches box how would you know what his role was. he had to pick up his son from tennis straight after footy(and was running very late) and wasnt going to play due to this fact but with all the unavailabilities put up his hand.yes he should have shook hands with his opponent(if he didnt). whilst we are on the game yes vanders was very good but lack of pressure from our guys on the ball carrier made the delivery to him better.thought the young lad did a terriffic job on him in the second half.
two things that did disappoint me tho was the cheap shot on our defender(punching him in the guts when he wasnt looking) by ranneberg before the game started, then didnt have the courage to put his body over the ball just after that incident. secondly the way some of your players carried on when the game was out of our reach to win left a lot to be desired, which i doubt steve would condone. anyway overall the hospitality was good and yes we were beaten by 3 very good plympton teams i

Fair enough regarding gepp. As for raneburg incident didnt see it. I assume the carry on your talking about was vanders dive after kicking his 10th to be honest it didnt look great but im sure no disrespect was meant it was more the young lad showing off to his mates.[/quote]

sounds like sour grapes to me! nothin like that ever happens in footy? get over it! i seem to remember last time we played your mob at your mud pit, several blokes were in to ratsy all day! so good on him gettin 1 back i say... and as for celebrations, if u kick 10. do what you want! doesnt happen much, and im pretty sure it was vanders first 10 haul. And if your worried about carry on, speak to your midget runner! he carrys on like a yob drunk supporter from the box and while running around the ground!

Elizabeth V Noth Haven was a bit of a no contest...

They were undermanned very much from what I could see and we were a little lack lustre in periods. Game played in good spirits and good on the boys there for sticking out the season and hopefully they will do ok next year.

As far as we r concerned we MUST beat BOS at their ground this week and hope Heccies do the job. Personally I think Plympton will knock them off by a few goals.

Very tight finish and If it pans out that favourites win I'll be stoked....

Hope Valley bench in the last quater was yelling at plympton players about how they are chokers and won't do anything anyway so i guess all the chat was just banter . get over it i think!
10 goals to Vanders fantastic job. he is one of the best kicks for goal i have seen!
I say plympton to really take it to Hectorville this week

Team Jacob are looking a little tired and no Howie could make a bit of a difference.

Vanders and his 10 goals - bloody hog - because of him I got no acrobatics from Jimmy :? ;)

What did you kick Booze? 5 goals, How many behinds? You didn't have your best day in front of goals. You should of kicked 10 IMO. You must love the delivery you get, it's very good.

Was just looking at the ladder for division 5 and got thinking about the first game of the year between Plympton and Elizabeth. If the result had stood then Elizabeth would have wrapped up third spot, Rossies a game clear in Fourth spot and the Battle for 5th would have been between Smithfield and Plympton. With Plympton facing Heccies at Daly oval and Smithfield facing North Haven (Please dont read to much in to this Magpie supporters) Plympton might have found themselves out the 5.

Now the question I ask is, Are Elizabeth happy to let the mistake ride now that they know thier close neighbour and rival may miss the finals? Or would they rather see Smithfield in and Plympton out?

Also will smithfield be writing to the league if they miss the 5 and try and get Elizabeth points back.

Please don't shoot me, It's just a thought.

Its a fair thought mate. But whats done is done. Weve copped it on the chin. The massive amount of percentage we lost from that game hurts prob more than the loss of 2 pts.

And if i had to choose, id rather Smithfield make the 5 over Plympton. Gotta hand it to em, they always put together a good competitive side no matter what their cattle is.
