Hmm if anything i thought he looked pretty nippy around goals definatly wasnt one of seatons worst players, kept seaton in the game against CBCOC first time around and played pretty well against us first time around

Im sure Stoff and Nurter wouldn't have recommended him if they didn't think he was up to it.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

Was one of Seatons best against us both games... Pretty sure he would have played A Grade at every other club in Div 3 quite comfortably!!!

I'll have a go
Flinders Park- team to beat with the recruits
Mitcham- flying under the radar
Portland- talked up but how much is true
Cbcoc- cld struggle if they have lost Douglas but will be up there
Smosh- will be around the mark
Golden Grove- wld want to prove themselves in div3
Pooraka- havnt heard boo from them
Seaton- with Hanson leaving ph cld keep them in div3
Para Hills- Hanson leaving could spell the end of div3 for ph
Pembroke- playing young kids may not be up to divvy3[/quote]

Flinders Park - apparently got some big recruits - and have an extended point allowance of 18??? as well as goody Saints??
Mitcham - should have a strong outfit again this year
Smosh - unlucky last year, will be around the mark
CBC - to build on last year
Portland - drop off a lil from last year - too many big outs but safely in finals from GG
GG - not to be in finals contention or risk of relagation
Seaton - remembering they knocked off PAC rnd 18 last year, just to survive relegation with out many of their big names
Pembroke - havent heard much, but have been very weak last few seasons in div 2, wil be righting to stay in div 3 all year
Pooraka - think they'll struggle in div3, rememebering from cpl of years ago, they always seemed to lose a bunch of players to the mines mid season...? if that happens this year they'll head straight back to div4
ParaHills - looks to be in a whole lot of trouble - their 2011 season could be what ends the Para Hills forum!

I think this season will be even closer then last season.
Mainly cause we wont have a stand out side in PAOC.

Reckon the top 4 could come in any order, will be
Flinders park, Portland, Mitcham, Smosh

CBC and GG will fight out for 5th place

While Pooraka, Seaton, Para Hills and pembroke will fight the relegation battle.

These predicitions are coming simply from on here, so for all I know Pooraka could be building a side to make there way to div 2, as with Pembroke.

Everyone seems to be talking about us, but I think Smosh and Mitcham will be the sides that teams should be worried about, we have lost a few gained a few, there is no talk about these sides though. How are your recruits going Mitcham??

I know Smosh havent lost any and are talking up there chances, they had a horror run with injuries and a coach that couldnt coach (according to them) so they will be making big inroads on last seasons position since they now have a new coach and will be hoping for no where near the number of injuries compared to last season.

I drove passed Flinders Park last night and seen about 15 people training, not the best numbers but did see an assistant from seaton last year with red/blonde hair out on the field giving directions...

Dunno who would have said that Fisty - i don't think Minners had the easiest job last year and was by no means a bad coach. Not many coaches will find it easy when they lose 15 first choice A graders. Last year for injuries was as bad as I can remember in my 5 years.

While there is definately a good feeling about SMOSH atm, i think realistically Portland and Flinders park are the teams to beat.

Can someone explain to me why FP have additional points? I have no idea what the grounds for receiving them are.

my top 4 is somethign like this:

Flinders park
portland
Mitcham/SMOSH
Mitcham/SMOSH

i jsut don't know/haven't heard about the other six club, apart from whats on here.

Seaton - appear to be battling, but they are a bloody strong club. Anything could happen there.
para Hills- hanson is a HUGE LOSS. tough year for flynn. Thach kicks around here - are you/is he still playing at PH?
Pooraka - ????
Pembroke - ????
CBCOC - lsot douglas, thats about it.
Golden grove - Strong club, good depth, btu again, so little i know about them.

IF they do get extra points over the normal allocation. ALL clubs should be given the same acception. We all said when this new system came in to play that their would be clubs abusing the right and being false in their responses. Again, whats good for one should be good for all. Thats IF the rumour is true.

Lots of talk for Flinders and their new recruits but, i have nt read anywhere yet who has gone to them or seperated from them. Ill look at the SAAFL website to be corrected. Besides if Thurstans is to suit up for them i wouldnt worry too much. Never rated him when he played for the power.

Flinders have been training Monday and Thursdays. Might have been the under 18's first training last night. Not sure though.

Haven't had a lot to do with the club this year, but a couple of close mates are A graders and they are telling me the boys are averaging about 45-50 per training, which is pretty good. Have popped my head out to a couple.

As far as the ladder goes, its almost impossible to tell this early. I think it will be a very even comp tho.

Lot of people have written off Pembroke early. think they might surprise a few people. If they can get on top early, they are hard to beat. Being heavily underrated might work for them. i know Flinders Park have a lot of respect for them and will be very keen to knock them off.

The Flinders boys are looking very fit though, and the recruits are looking good. Someone told me Winstanley is a junior aswell, so will he be no points? There has been some talk O'Hara had hurt his knee but from my reports, he's been training well.

And As far as points go, I think there is an appeal process that most clubs went through. Only two or three clubs were granted extra. For what reason i'm not too sure. Seems very strange either way.

Its my understanding that Flinders Park and Broadview were given an additional 2 points as they had done considerable recruiting before the APPS was initiated into the SAAFL. They were asking for alot more and 2 points is peanuts compared what they requested if what i am hearing is correct
