Matthew Pavlich out of contract. He would be handy back home for SHOC's

FC - what was your take on the game on Saturday? Dont think both teams played to their potential, a fair few skills errors. Was impressed though by PNU attack on the footy and they defintley had a crack.

You're right, In hindsight we should have been beaten by 6 goals and that's all I'm going to say about that and probably wouldnt be so peed off if we had. If you saw my reaction at the final siren, you'll get my general consensus on the last quarter of that game.

Our attack on the footy is the one positive we can take away from the game.. Macca was pretty happy with the performance overall.

Can you give me your HONEST opinion of the last 20 seconds of the game?

Didnt even get to perve on Trigger much 8) :(

True. I think PNU midfield was clearly better on the day. But maybe a prelude to the elimnation final perhaps...

The last 20 seconds? Are you leading into some of the umpiring calls? Or loose checking by PNU?

I just want your honest to god opinion re : all of the above in the lat 20 -30 seconds of the game, but your'e on the money with the latter.

I would like to think it would be the prelude, but with Scotch playing the way they are at the second(and we play them this week), we really needed the 1 point to hang on to that 5th spot, and now need to win 4 or the last 5 or something like that to hang on.

My opnion of the last qtr would be that SHOCs should have iced the game but missed 5 goals that they should have kicked. PNU then had a great chance to win the game in the last 5 mins and were all over SHOCs....but to give Tasborski that much time and space and for someone to be free in the 50 with seconds to go was a bit average footy. The CHB for SHOCs took a couple of good pack marks in the last few minutes which set up the win. Macca and Direen were very good.

I see it is the battle for 5th spot this week between Scoth and PNU, should be a good game.

dont tell me the wheels are starting to fall off the districts train. I am hearing alot of guys are starting to get soft tissue injuries and the depth is not as good as first thought. Christophers, Morris, Steed, Smithham, Puecker, and others .. How will these players be covered and is it true they are all under a cloud?

Is Lynch still playing, heard he hasnt played for the last couple of weeks, Had enough? Not as good as he thought?

Two losses hardly make a season?

They are still 2 games clear on top with four to play. We will see what happens over the next 6 or 7 weeks. I think all the players will all be OK and Districts will be around the mark.

Finals are coming - you can smell it in the air!!

Districts will finish top any way so even if there players have a few soft tissue injuries in which all clubs have this time of the year they have put in the early hard yards to be rewarded with top spot @ the end of the minor round.

Top spot doesnt always mean a guaranteed flag. I reckon districts will lose another game before the finals any way. Have seen all teams in div 2 this year and rate seaton and modbury as the two top teams.

Will be a very interesting finals series, seems to be a few clubs hitting their straps and a few clubs having a bit of a inconsistent patch. Maybe some big upsets on the cards. Big interest to see who will come up, maybe a nice change if the yoyo clubs of Pt Dis and Seaton miss, and get some fresh blood in Div 1.

If anyone listened to the radio show this morning, they received an email/press release from Phil Martin at Kilburn saying that Danny Ryan will not be offered a new contract at Kilburn next year...

Would it have anything to do with a certain coach in the BL&G competition?
