So can I, I've been wearing it for the last 3 days. It needs a wash!! Why would the A's have them made up? You need to come up with a new strategy mate, the one you got now ain't too bold...

means we no that paul isnt coaching them  who coaching kenilworth next year is the question (looking at the coaches thread)....

and well done to HV Bs and WOS, is it true HV B grade had shirts already made up???

Yes - we had our t shirts made up on saturday. AFTER we knew the result.

and i couldn't care less who will be coaching kenilworth next year. we won't be playing them.

Will Heccies look for a new coach, after failing to improve on last year?

What is with this crap about shirts every year, I swear people just love to spread these rumours. Anyone actually involved with a club will know that the shirts are designed during the week through sports scene, the print button is hit and then you have shirts. I would say that 75% of clubs would have done the prep work to ensure the shirts could be available Sat night should the need have arisen. With the B grade result known at 2pm there would be no surpirses if the HV boys were wearing them before 5pm. jeez, get over it

Anyway, to the HV boys who have posted kind comments about the spirit of the game & competition etc well done to you & your club, great to see, looking forward to the continued rivalry

you would be correct some printers only need 2 hours notice for delivery for such events as Grand Finals provided you have all the prep work done before hand

On the money with this, did them for years and a couple of hours and the're ready to wear. Everthing is setup prior to getting the result, no win, no printing.
It's always first in, first done so B grade or other early games get them. Have got them to country clubs by 9.00pm Sat night by putting them on the bus or meeting someone at Pt Wakefield to collect. Did 200 for Moonta A grade a couple of years ago, they picked them up from Pt W and had sold them by 11.00, did another 100 on the Sunday and sent them up by bus

I wouldn't say a disgrace, just a very passionate man. Has been a lot quieter the past two years than he has been previously!
And you Magoo boys from HV ain't any better I can assure you, just that for once the shoe was on the other foot.

I've heard him go a bit overboard before, crossing the line of what is appropriate and innappropriate. But it happens every week, at every ground, I guess you just expect someone of his standing to set an example.

Not much to say Scout and only because I got pretty hammered. Can remember it was a scrappy game, the wind ruined what could have been a free flowing game. Westminster going with the wind in the third, I thought they'd need to be a minimum of four goals up at the last change to hold on. Only got two up and I really thought Hope Valley would come home over the top of them. Westminster managed to defy the trend, score a few goals into the breeze that quarter and hang on for the win.

Was the hole in the fence still there, or the gap in the gate?

This is a little delayed, but the nearest thing to a computer I've seen since Saturday is an ATM.

Commiserations to Hope Valley A grade - tough competition and really made us earn it right up to the end. Some high quality players, never gave up and nearly pulled off another great late comeback win. I thought Charlie and Wardy's talk to our boys in the changerooms after the game showed a lot of class and was a great reflection on the Hope Valley club. Look forward to playing you guys next year.

Congratulations to Hope Valley B grade on their win and capping off an undefeated season, definitely something to be very proud of. Commiserations to Hectorville B's, but I thought it was a great effort for them to get that close. I was lead to believe there was daylight between HV and the rest of the field in the B's - and for much of the year there was - so Heccie's obviously should be pleased they got as close as they did.
