Of course it will be, considering they have an "executive member" in house ;)

Soooo, hows "Team Jacob" shaping up this week?

felt sorry for you boys having no changerooms and i cant wait to see the complaints from the plympton boys next week, i think its silly getting them done this time of year when finals is around the corner and them changerooms dont get used during cricket season

if it cost us a home final we will happily swap changerooms for the day

Smithfield have given themselves a good chance at finals action after a win against us on Sat. With several players out (including Joss) they still beat us. Our oval was a disgrace and our skills were atrocious. Smithfield really dug deep particularly when we came back at them in the last. Have to improva dramatically over the next 3 to even put a dent on the final 5

Those early clearances in the last blew the game open.
Ratts (23) got a lot of the ball, as did our guys in there and rucks were pretty even til the last 1/4

i must have been at a different game, cause i didn't think plympton won a tap in the ruck all day! and both ruckman looked lost everywhere else around the ground!

I'd say fair enough for getting a little frustrated after kicking 7 points and spraying a few others that didn't even register a score!!

And Lukey wouldn't hurt a fly! But is a very talented footballer. Awesome kid to play alongside as he has a very good footy brain, something unfortunately you don't see much anymore these days. Still only 18, so can't wait to see how good he'll be in a couple of yrs or so! :)

Yeah it was a great test of character for the group, We went in Thursday knowing we'd lost Joss, Fairhurst, Anderson, Mathews and Macartney and then on Saturday Wilkinson became unavailable for the A's. 3 of the promoted B graders played very well and have put a fair bit of pressure on the players returning. It was a good result for Damian Newman who was playing his 250th game for the club.
Despite the schlackings the B's get, there is still 5 or 6 pretty handy footballers playing for them, we can survive with a few injuries etc.

Hectorville 28 63.2% and
Brahma Lodge 26 62.4% - play in Rd. 17 for top spot
Plympton 16 54.6% - BL, HV, Heccies
Hope Valley 16 48.4% - Hec, Plympton, BL
Elizabeth 14 49% - Luth, NH, Blacks
Smithfield 14 48.2% - Blacks, Rose, NH
Rosewater 14 45.6% - NH, Smith, AL
Adelaide Lutheran 12 48.6% - Eliz, Blacks, Rose
North Haven 6 36.4% - big trouble
Blackfriars OS 4 40.9% - gone

HUUUGE 3 weeks ahead. Eliz and Smith have bottom 2 to play. HV have top 3. Plympton still got top 2 to play. Possies 3-5 still up for grabs!!! Blacks and NH will help cause more surprises too..

My tip is Smithfield finish 4th and Adel Luth 5th

We still have a reasonable sniff of 3rd, unfortunately there are no easy games though, even Bos & Haven's both away are still not to be taken lightly despite their ladder position. Throw in a desperate Rosie's at home and we have a tough run home.
Plympton are likely to record one more win at the expense of the Valleys who'll have to pull something out of the hat to see finals action.
Elizabeth have a huge test against Lutheran this week away and Rosies still have a pretty strong pulse.
Lutheran are still more than capable of winning their last 3 and mounting a late challenge for the finals.

Hope Valley v Hectorville- Heccies will be too good for HV.
Adelaide Lutheran v Elizabeth- Game of the round, AL just.
Brahma Lodge v Plympton- Brahma should win at home.
Blackfriars OS v Smithfield- Smithfield in a closer one than some may think.
North Haven v Rosewater- Huge day for us on Saturday as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the 1985 A and B grade premierships. Hopefully we can put on a good show for all of the PAPFC/NHFC past players, get our second win in a row and forth for the year.
