What's the story with the cancelled clearance for Jarrod Wareing over the weekend...?

Surely a carton of red tins were involved somewhere along the line.....

They've been early favourites for their entire existence. It's almost a permanent state.

Thought greenacres were a completly different side mayb 12 + different players in the A's....?...? It really had a big game atmosphere with both teams being relegated last year. Greenies just struggled to hit their target with that in close handball that could've released the runner and given them some cleaner inside 50's. I don't have stats 2 back me up but I think we scored a few goals on the turnover. From our perspective our pressure all over the ground was good & we forced the mistakes. Few minor dust ups during the game but nothing sinister every1 shook hands after the game & I even seen a couple of greenies lads really go out of their way to shake everyone's hand. Only a minor thing but something we r all guilty of taking for granted at times. On the return leg I will b making sure a couple of beers r had @ greenies bar after the game.

Will b interesting to see clubs 1st quarters after playing the lodge. Thought it took us a while to get into the game & a few of our lads got pinged holding the ball. Not taking anything away from greenies but we didn't adjust to the increase in intensity as quickly as we would've liked.

Haven't seen a game of div 5 for a few years so I have no idea where the 'Fins' sit in regards to the bigger picture. I have no idea how our standard will hold up over the other teams but 2-0 is a good start.

As a rule of thumb SD Nicoles comments are usually ignored, reply at your own peril.

Agree with Flipper. Was an entertaining game and a good tight contest. I think both sides played the game in the right spirit. Certainly CBCOC were a little cleaner with the footy especially on the outside whilst we were second grabbing. Poor finishing saw us kick 13 points and had we taken our chances in the 2nd quarter where we kicked 0.6 to 3.3 the end result would have been really tight.

We look forward to meeting later in the year and will certainly provide that beer at the bar! I think Div 5 will be extremely close all year and winning close games will be the key to making the 5.

Excluding Brahma - Who do you see as being the sides fighting for relegation this season?

It will be very tight from 3 down to 9 I reckon probably only a few wins seperating the whole lot, in the group you would have Trinity, Elizabeth, North Haven, Westminster, CBC, Para Hills and Greenacres.

CLG and Luthies look the goods at the moment

Edmunds - a goal slut. Good skills, tough at the footy. At about his right level in Div 5.
