Taylor has OP at the moment, but from my understanding is coming to the end of it. I believe he will be around the mark come season proper. He is a gym junkie also so he will still have some fitness base behind him. As for other players, I know of 3-4 (A graders) that will not be playing for some part of the season because of OS travel.
Flanegan will miss all of this year OS. He missed a heap of footy second half last year due to injury though.
Jason Barry is OS for first half of season but will be back mid year.
The only other players (Consistent A graders) that will be missing from last years side will be Stringer (Gone home for work), Michael Ward (Knee recon) and Nick Cane (Not playing footy at all from my understanding).

Had surgery a while back but as mentioned gives himself every chance with his preparation and professionalism. Will get himself right for a tilt at some point during the season. Probably sooner rather than later. Great young lad. :)

Good trial match tonight between Willaston and Kilburn. Willaston won because they were just too big and strong, but Kilburn had a lot missing on the long weekend, and will be a handful when the season starts.

The Chics will be good. Looked good. Robertson from Eastern Park, will be a handy pick up, but they were missing the extra ordinary talents of the great Andy Graham, who will walk back into the side. Great player is Graham, and you don't win the Full Back of the Century tag, for no reason. According to Graham after the game, "they missed him much more than Pressler".

Kilburn, will be around the mark in September, judging by tonight's trial match against a reasonably good side in Willaston.

Kilburn just miss some coaching nous. Maybe Luke Hosie could jump on board? <Edit - Not acceptable> .

Walkies played Pembroke in a trial on the weekend. A grade won fairly easily which is to be expected since Pembroke are div 3.
Was about 17 goals to 2 at the end of the game. Walkerville still have a few to slot into the A Grade. Aside from Wegener, all the Gaza recruits played. All looked good and applied really good pressure all around the ground. Heintze will be a handy addition up forward with Fischer. Plucked 3 or 4 strong pack marks and finshed with a few sausage rolls. Me thinks this weeks game against Salisbury North will be a really good indication of where they're at.

Districts boys have been quiet the last week down on the wharf. Called into dp World today and they reckon Gaza beat em on Saturday but they weren't much chop. They reckon that if they had there full side in they would have won. They Still think they will be good this year and play finals. They said SMOSH were crap on Saturday night against TTG and Portland were crap against Payneham who are only a div 3 side. SMOSH and Portland likely to get relegated they reckon

Interesting to say that SMOSH were crap on Saturday night. First hit out for the year against the div 2 premiers from last year and also not at full strength. Not really going to get an idea of how any sides are travelling until a few rounds are played.

We were pretty crap for our very high standards that we set ourselves ;)

I listed 11 A Graders from our Grand Final side not playing so make of that what you will.

Don't listen too much to petcon, he has very similar ramblings to Yardy Lard last year. Just like Yardy he is baiting the gullible to appear that Districts are arrogant and over confident about the coming season. Most likely supports Portland or Smosh

Idiotic comment. Now you are guessing who somebody is, when you or I have no idea. If he is going to DP World like he says, a number of the Port District lads are there, who I am guessing are talking footy. Ridiculous to be blaming SMOSH or Portland blokes for something that could well be true. No-one knows or has a clue who petcon is, or who he speaks with, or what they say to him or her. Don't try deflecting attention away from something that could well be true by blaming other supporters groups or players.

Fairly common knowledge on here that alot of Districts folk work on the wharf, petcon saying in every post how he was down at DP world today suggests to me he is taking the pi$$ and just looking to stir it up a bit. Also hasn't been DP World for a while now and someone who goes down there as much as him would know that and call the place by it's right name.

I think you will also note that Flinders Ports or DP World as he likes to call it isn't a place that you can just stroll down to, to listen to some banter. Also if you were there you would only hear them whinging about how hard they've got it down at the wharf.

As for making Port Districts look arrogant, that wouldn't be much of a challenge. Making them look interesting would be much more of a challenge! ;)
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

It's a tough gig being a Longshoreman.
Interesting. Is that from a team or club point of view ? No team in the SAAFL would look interesting compared to the freaks at Largs North Reserve. ;)

Phil Cleggett from PAC back to Langhorne Creek? Would think maybe Lee Warren would be going back too if that's the case - Cleggett a very handy inclusion for Langhorne Creek and a massive loss to PAC if true.
