I was at the game, it was a triple header with 18's A's & B's, the 18's looked very good against woody south, the A's & B's have a bit of work to do. A lot of these blokes have never played together before and the club is defenatly in a rebuilding stage, they do have some talant there and will only get better as the year goes on. We have a good moral around the club at the moment which has been missing in the last few years. As for woody South they are a very good unit at the moment and I dont see any div 6 side getting close to them this year.

They played Adelaide Lutheran and lost but then played Pembroke on the weekend and won. Don't know any other details.

Jackson, Adam
Kerr, Jordan
Sampson, Chris
Sykes, Jarrad
Viney, Ryan

The loss of Margitich could hurt, no idea on the rest of the Quality ins apart from those that came with the coach will be walk up A graders

How many A graders will those ins produce??? Heard from a mate they were very ordinary against Adelaide Lutheran (AL) in their trial match (Pulteney that is) and then Unley/Mercedes made ends meat of the AL side the following week. Is Pulteney's squad getting older or have they produced some youngsters who will continue to develop? They were on the brink of relegation last year from memory.

Also, I ventured down to the Rosewater v Hectorville game last saturday. The young Hounds brigade in the reserves seemed very switched on and were smart coming out of defence. Also, worked very well as a team. However, the A grade seemed to be a much scrappy affair up until quarter time. Rosewater seemed to control the corridor mostly throughout, however the Hounds disposal of the ball was very clean, particularly coming out of defence, using their wide oval to their advantage. Seem to be more so team-orientated this year. Can't wait for round 1 to see how these teams go
