I'd say zedman their struggling a little with numbers & your right as far as panic zone is concerned.
The buttons been pushed!

I've driven past a couple of times on my way home and they do appear to be struggling. Perhaps footynut can fill us in.

RE: Broadview advertising. Heard that they are strugglin to fill a B grade side due to lots of 'fringe' players leaving after the treatment they got from last years coach. A's look pretty solid as far as i'm told, few handy pick ups.

He is a Man Mountain of a bloke! Not sure how well he would be getting around the ground, seems to have put on a few kilo's over the last couple of years, but would be impossible to beat him around the ground!
Was on a massive pay packet down at Penola, must have just got sick of the drive?

I beleive that Banton was offered some big (massive) money in some other country regions, so Gaza would have to be splashing a bit around, but he could be the difference! As for Demasi, I spoke to him lately and I think he is staying solid with Goodwood.

He's a pure Ruckman and from memory he played a bit for Port Adelaide Reserves before heading to Penola.
Plus Gaza wouldn't be offering anywhere near what he was getting at Penola! Probably about a third!

We have a few Penola lads who rate him highly as one of the best ruckman in country SA thats about as much as I know, Panther32 seems more up to date. Do not quote me on this but I think that the figures being mentioned to gain his services was around $600 per match!

Thanks Panther/LF, if he plays ruck that will put pressure on big Jack. Pretty good money if it's correct in what your saying LF.

I can't be 100% but GAZA wouldn't be offering that sort of money. Are you talking about that's what Penola were paying LF?

Wasnt near that for some, maybe they considered him to be better chop than others they talked to.
I dont think banton from memory played anywhere of significance before Penola, he came from b/ball and then trained with port magpies. Someone else may be able to fill in more as although I dont know i am sure he has had some footballing experience prior to penola but like I said was a basket baller.
