talking about chances in div 5 medal, have seen meigel twice now and unless he's had two off days against the valleys, would think he may struggle. Mcfarlane would poll votes imo. very strange game yesterday with 6 of the 10 goals scored into the wind :?

Well done to Rosewater on the weekend. They were much more desperate, cleaner, skilful. We got some late goals which made the scoreline look better than it probably should have been.

We just didn't turn up to play at all and I'd be surprised if anyone other than Dan Paradiso and Trent Greenshields won their position on the ground. Really bad loss that will probably have major implications come seasons end.

To the young lad that broke his leg in a sickening incident, the boys at Elizabeth wish you a speedy and full recovery.. Poor bloke, I heard the crack from 80 metres away :(

Smithfield at home next week is a must win as is every game from here out....

A special mention must go to the saafl for the catering at Thebbie yesterday. Ran out of hot food before quarter time of the A grade! (it was a good time for me to start a diet I guess!)

Bit hard on Miegs there mate. played ok, not a day for forwards as the scoreline would suggest.
Skipper McFarlane generally polls well, clearly our best yesterday.

well done to north haven yesterday a real massive improvement from the first time we met,but i got to say probably one of the worst games of footy i have watched in years. havens pressure was extremely good all day and the big number 4 was easily there best for the day. mr dark night had a half decent game as well. on a side note food is amazing and hospitallity was great, but on a sad note to the week spineless pr#ick who made a racist comment to one of our b grade players hang your head in shame i hope the club deals with this idiot cause ya dont need people like that at a footy club.

Yeah the southern end of your ground is open so I would suspect you get some sort of breeze. The wind at Haven today was favouring the southern end as it does all footy season and then goes in the opposite direction in the summertime during cricket season. Somedays it's ridiculous but today it wasn't as bad but still helped the team kicking to that end, as it usually does.

decent game by yourself dark knight but matty eagles was a standout probably got the three votes and will be on his way to team of the year, his foot skills let him down at times but defiantly an asset to any team in div 5 side

Yeah did ok in the middle, it seems as though i'm moving up in life. ;) Matty Eagles was on fire yesterday and has had a super month after struggling with form and injury earlier this season. IMO he was beaten in the ruck by Bellman but was alot better around the ground, specially floating back behind the ball and taking a truckload of marks. His foot skills and decision making do let him down at times but he is definitely an asset for our club and hopefully will poll votes in the D5 medal count.

Told you guys the food is good.

Yeah that incident was terrible and I was shocked when I heard about it. Jack is a well known and liked bloke down our way and the person envolved should be really ashamed with themselves, to say something like that out loud on a football field is both wrong and embrassing. I hope the club and league deal with the incident in the right manner.

The clubs lucky we know Jack well and that he's a pretty easing going fella, otherwise it would be an even worse incident than it is.

Apprantly they were running low on hot dogs all day.

We had a carton in the changerooms after the game. From saturdays team we had 3 players under the age of 18 and including them we had 13 players 22 or under.

And the redhead at the bar having something to look at, US you cheeky bugger :D ;)
