Would have finally picked 5 last week LM, if only i could have put my tips in! Bloody son broke computer and had not acess to the net all weekend! Lucky my dream team won!

You got bumped down the pack in Divvy 6 tips too.

Not happy Quichey, another 5 that went missing!!

AHH that old chestnut, his old man did tell me there was a lady friend happening but was not aware his footy took a back seet, he will learn his lesson :D

Looks like Damo the ladiesman has been tamed. He stopped playing cricket halfway through last season because he had "lost interest". Perhaps that's why.

yep he took the long handle to something other than a cricket ball

i think the phrase c%#t-Struck is the perfect term for young Quirkys situation :p Weve all been there but yeah.. he had a real bad case of it

Sickening incident with us today. Broken leg clean through. Most sickening thing I seen on footy field. Thanks to eliz players for their concern. Having op to have plates and screws put in tonight. Rino is a great bloke and thoughts with him. But can't finish after reading all about goal umpires last week, one very close goal touched but called a goal by their umpire. Was close but I found ironic that they were not complaining :-)

We just played 4 quarters of footy, stuck with BL the for the whole game and in the end they just pipped us at the post. Like against Plympton a couple weeks ago, our pressure at the ball and on the ball carrier was excellent, we gave BL no space to work in and used our pace really well.

We are building to 2011 and the performance today against a form side can and has given real confindence going into next year. If we play like we did today for the rest of the season I'm hopeful we can jag a few more upset wins and take some real form and confidence into season 2011.

Disapointing loss for the B grade, meaning they have dropped back a bit. Good win by the C grade though under lights, it was good to see a few Brahma boys stick around for a beer and watch the C grade afterwoods.

Hope Valley next week up there, a 3 grades have a chance of causing big upsets.

I wouldn't call it a gale US, but I'm guessing it is something you guys are not used to. There is always a breeze at our ground no matter what time of year it is. Portland is enclosed and is shielded by all the buildings and housing around it while our ground is open and left exposed to the wind.

We usually get a breeze from the southern end, the clubroom (northern) end is sheltered by the railway mound. Breeze was moderate today, but nowhere near a gale.

Yeah the southern end of your ground is open so I would suspect you get some sort of breeze. The wind at Haven today was favouring the southern end as it does all footy season and then goes in the opposite direction in the summertime during cricket season. Somedays it's ridiculous but today it wasn't as bad but still helped the team kicking to that end, as it usually does.

decent game by yourself dark knight but matty eagles was a standout probably got the three votes and will be on his way to team of the year, his foot skills let him down at times but defiantly an asset to any team in div 5 side
