Catch, has Hollamby always played for you guys? He looks like someone who played a pre-season game for EPFC this year.

Cheers, if it is the bloke I am thinking of he goes very well. Was very surprised to see him out with you guys after I saw him running around for Eastern Park.

I know it is not the good thing for the devoted B graders, but are people aware of clubs who are out of the finals hunt in the A grade/or already relegated that drop players back to strenghten their B grade come finals time? Those who are on the cusp of A grade who have played B grade throughout the year don't really count as they have played some B grade footy, but do clubs drop more back to give their team a better chance of success?

That's him Masha, is originally from Renmark, played at Para Hills a couple of years ago and did his pre-season at EP this year, not sure why he switched to Lutherans though.

Even though were bottom and the B grade is in contention for finals, rolla (our coach) has clearly said he will not put players back to the B grade so they can play finals. I personally think it is wrong and it shouldn't be done. You play A grade because you are an A grade footballer and you shouldn't be wanting to be sent back to the B grade just because their playing finals. Besides if our B grade make the finals they will be knocked out in the first round anyway IMO. Haven't beaten one of the top 4 sides.

Thanks mate. When he was training with EP he was working at the Red Lion in Eliz, but I have not seen him there for a long time so maybe it is to do with work/living.

I couldnt imagine how the guys who played B grade all year would feel about loosing their spot in the finals to an A grade player coming down!!!

Yeah, you'd be quite annoyed. Just to clarify I wasn't having a dig at any club or saying it happens, just wondering if anyone has seen it happen.

There is only a handful of guys anyway, 3 or 4 from the A grade team from the weekend that are in contention for the B grade if they make the finals who have roughly played half/half of A's and B's throughout the year.
