I heard WOS partied well into Sunday morning, like they'd already won their GF. Good for us!
And TG - girls shouldn't sit on fences, it's not very ladylike!!!

Sometimes in SANFL neutral supporters go to the Grand Finalists after parties - does the same happen in SAAFL? :drinkers:
Gonna be a beauty this week - go the Gateways!!!

i think if neags would played it would be more to do with how the season finished. would say at least he would play a B grade game to make the 200 games. kymbo will play Bs at least for the nxt 20years. has planned to retire for the last 3 yrs. howey is putting in a big preseason as is trying to lose some unwanted kg's.

Ha ha, I heard that Hope Valley partied last weekend like they'd already won both flags. :)

Not sure it will make any difference short of someone falling over and injuring themselves.

That kind of comment is made every year... I give it 2 days before someone asks if it's true that Hope Valley already have their premiership t-shirts made up.

I can assure you no one from Hope Valley thinks both GF's are ours. The hard work begins Saturday at 12 for the B grade and 2 for the A grade.

Nothing wrong with WOS or HV getting together at their respective clubs after good wins and making the GF and being promoted. That's what footy clubs are about. A few beers were had, but there was certainly no wild celebrations!! WOS almost were in Div 7 and we WERE in Div 7 in 2005, so it's great achievement by both clubs to now be in Div 5. Come tuesday after the Semi Final it was back to business and the same will go for WOS.

Well done to WOS on making the GF and gaining promotion.

There were no 'wild' celebrations (maybe from me!) but certainly not the players. the players know what the deal is and have their heads in the right space.
Sillier comment is saying they were nearly in Div 7.....Zman......

Well, he'd be right. In '07 they had to win the last game against Lockleys to avoid relegation.

My guess is Harvey will stay unless he gets offered more than his current $200 a game from elsewhere.

Heccies A Grade players all get a drink card for each win. We are looking to introduce something similar next year.
