Your pretty quick to jump on the bag hodges bandwagon sharky after a loss. Didnt hear from you last week when Seaton beat districts. Are you just another disgruntled Henley person who still holds scotty responsible for your clubs pitiful season this year. I was at the Modbury game and your way off the mark. If you think scotty goes in to games with no respect for the opposition then you obviously do not know him that well. There were factors that contributed to the loss on the weekend. But I'm sure Scotty and the boys will bounce back and have a big win this week against Kilburn.

I could guarantee that Scotty has full respect for opposition teams, unfortunately i dont think it carries over to his players.

I hope your not using your state players as an excuse for the loss Newman, what was their excuse the first time Modbury beat them?

A big win against Kilburn, gee, there's an achievment

Don't let the name fool ya newam, never been associated with Henley. Mate i was there and heard it with my own ears. I rate Hodges as a player, coach and as a bloke, have met him on numerous occasions and get along fine. Was just talking about the game on Saturday. Not very dignified.

And if ya wanna get personal, lets hope you stay in Div 2 so we don't have to put up with the sandy cricket pitch and toilet size changerooms, classy.

Don't underestimate the importance of Gowsy and Thommo.

Heard the Blers were carrying a fair few injuries into saturday. Lots of sore boys after a tough game against districts.

i meant exactly what I said.

Gowsy and Thommo are damn good players. Gowsy puts his head where people wouldn't put their foot. You can't replace that.

Gee sharky forgive ramblers for the state of teir changerooms as opposed to the other first class facilities around these days like modbury's tin shed and phos's bunker out the back, perhaps your in the wrong game if you require pampering before a game. FC im interested in how ramblers didnt show your boys any respect. The way i saw it was it was a tight game for 3 quarters then ramblers kicked away. Not sure what you mean. As for the modbury game Gowers and Thomas were not the only players out not saying that is an excuse because modbury certainly wanted it more but to beat good sides you need your best 21 on deck and as for depth I'm certain that most clubs have that problem.

How are your boys shaping up this week FC? PHOS have a tough run home and SHOC did u some
favours by knocking off Scotch. Would be a pretty successful first year in Div 2 i would think if
you played a part in the finals.

When your walking around the oval during a game and even before the game in the changerooms, you can tell the players who are out there to play a good game, and those that talk and have the attitude like the game is in the bag before they've even walked onto the park, which is what I was hearing near the changerooms and walking around the oval. Then whinged like girls at every whistle when they realised it wasn't going to be as easy as they thought. but full credit to them for the final score, I'll never take that away from them.

Jonathon Rex was copping alot, probably after what happened at the last game, but spent most of the 1st half having a giggle about it and a run around rather than trying to get the ball .Ashley Place was just plain arrogant from the second he walked through the gate. He had parked cross a driveway (and on the ass of my car) so as he walked through the gate (and there are plenty of witnesses) I kindly suggested that he might want to move his car to save himself a ticket, and that the owners of have complained about this before, all I copped was a mouthful of abuse and then he walked off, and then got his "scary" death scare every time I walked over to that side of the oval to give water. Just things like that..

Yes RRR, we finally cracked 5th spot (thanks Scotch) but now have to try and stay there. Just found out that our game against SHOC is now at the middle school (CARP) but looking forward to a few more good wins over the next few weeks i hope!

i dont play for seaton but Jono Rex is a champion bloke and what happened last time was very much out of character. But he has done his time. But with placey that is him, went to school with him and he has not changed much at all. we played them 2 years ago and did he cop it from the smosh crowd. Is not the smartest player going around.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Dry your eyes FC going in to opposition territory to play a game of footy you got to have a bit of confidence about yourself. If you interpreted that as disrespect then I think you and your football club need to toughen up. If anything the lack of respect came from your club FC. When the seaton boys were walking off the ground they were spat on by some of your wonderful supporters from the balcony I would suggest that is far worse than what you are talking about.

PS Remember the 'premiership water' quote - now that was a lack of respect!

Yeah, dont know the kid of course, but doesn't seem like the type to do something so stupid and life threatening.

I think the reason I notice and am surpised by the attitude of Seaton players is because EVERYONE else at Seaton that I've had dealings with, the trainers, the match day officals, the pres, and even Scotty himself have been very friendly and will go out of their way to help. I actually cant speak highly enough of the club as a whole.

Its always been a common theme from Seaton that if you play there you have to put up with the crowd, and if they visit your deck you have to put up with the players attitudes cos the crowd doesn't travel. Not such a bad thing to have a home ground that is very hard to quiet down. Its just how it is down there.
