What if you've got a note from your mum?

What about if a player has been injured all year ?

Name him on the bench and play one short if he is that important

He has to be on the bench in his playing gear by half time or his name has to be taken off the team sheet

Easily organised - no rule that says he has to be fit to play

Selected this week so I'd suggest the rumours are bull dust.

Selected at which club?

He wasn't at either training session this week which is unusual but as WW said he has been selected for the reserves. I'm sure he wouldn't of been selected if something was up with him.

Didn't train with you maybe because he was training at another club. :)

Great game at Tigerland today, in fact both games were very good,

In the A Grade PNU came from about 3 or 4 goals down at 3/4 time to win by 2 points against a depleted Broadview side and in the Magoos, PNU were the same down at 3/4 time and hit the front only to have Broadview player Darryl Rehn in his 300th game kick the winning goal with about 90 seconds to go.

enjoyable day and pretty good crowd in that weather

Gutsy win by PNU when it looked very much like it would be the Tigers day at 3/4 time. Always a good day at Broadies, thanks for the hospitality. I don't reckon it's the last these two teams will see of each other this year.

Good game at Gepps today glad to take the points. Much respect to the Gepps people for the respect that was shown to us.

For Sam Williams to kick our last 3 goals and effectively win us the game is probably beyond comprehension.

Respect.

No. Saturday exams for some of the young lads.

bandar I think what he probably meant was that Broadies had no interchange left.good game that could have gone either way.credit to Payneham they were in front when it mattered most.

No worries fair cop I have a pet peeve with the we weren't at full strength thing while suggesting the opposition were full bottle.

Great article. Condolences to the Williams family.
Just shows how great footy clubs are in helping people in tough times like this.

No players had exams this week. Just a bucket load of injuries. Should get a few important players back in the next couple weeks, including the skipper who was missed greatly today.

Yep exactly what I meant, full credit to PNU, fought that extra hard when they had to early in the last 1/4.

He played for Barossa Districts yesterday, i'm surprised Roger James would have someone like that at his club. Probably says how desperate they are

Funny thing is that he said at the start of the year he knew he wouldn't be playing A's or be getting paid and was more than happy to help out the young kids in the reserves. Turns out he left after 10 weeks to play A's and earn $$. Disgraceful if you ask me. No one likes a club slut.

His reputation precedes him. The only surprise here is that he lasted 10 weeks.
