Very hopeful of getting better quality umpires this week. Last weeks were impossible to understand their decisions. Given it's only finals now in all grades will the better umpires be available , even in Div 8?

Luke Haynes appointed TTG C-Grade coach for 2014? Who is their D-Grade coach?

Don't count on it as Div 1 is still playing minor round games, this is why they use to play "c" on Sunday's for the first two weeks of finals because of umpires - shortage & quality.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Well done to SMOSH West Lakes who have made it to GF courtesy of a Win over Modbury. Pity about the "jerk" who laid out cold one of the SMOSH players behind play and was the catalyst of an "all in" after. Luckily it was seen and we have number as they say.....

The alleged incident you're referring to wasn't seen by any player or official!! There was no all in as a result. Before you get on a public forum and open your mouth and let your belly rumble I would suggest you have you facts right. What you are refeering to occurred in the first Q the all in happen at the end of the third which your boundary umpire started!! How'd that work out for him!!!

Just because it was not seen by an official does not mean it didnt happen. Before you get on your high horse, how about you get rid of these ****$ from your club who think it's alright to go around knocking blokes out behind play.

Wrong on all counts. An official did see it.....I never mentioned in which quarter it happened and I never said which quarter the "all-in" happened. Those on the ground said the 'jerk' facilitated the niggle in the game which ended up what it was...anyway why would get defensive about a thug no matter who it is. Perhaps you might read future posts more diligently before responding...but given the year you've had I understand how might feel....just for you :goodman:

Perhaps your response was only given a cursory glance and not a diligent read because it was waffle.
Having said that no one likes to see a player felled behind the play. I didn't see what happened, I did hear an excuse, but I don't like to see it.
I also don't like to see boundary umpires involved in on the ground scuffles. It's a bit rich to call it an all in when there was really only pushing and name calling. A little bit like the use of the word 'jerk'.
Rightly our Div 2 side has had a stinker of a year, but our Div 8 sides both made finals and at the moment we are still in it.
