I think that maybe Ovies and North Pines will get the two sides but im not sure about Wingfield getting the numbers for 2 sides.

then the grade might be....ovies,nth pines, houghton, st pauls , flinders uni, adel uni, angle vale, mitchell pk as an 8 team A and B grade comp..and 9 if wingies have 2..i doubt theyll put any of the other c and d grade teamsfrom last year in as henley and shoc are all div 1 with 4 teams so and also modbury ttg are div 1 and smosh and athelstone are div 2 with 4 teams, mitcham are div3 golden grove div 4 are the other sideswith 4 teams, prob should bring back c6...should look like....modbury henley shoc ttg c1 and c6 or even c5(as c5 looks doomed)athelstone c2 and c5/6 , smosh c2 and c5/6 mitcham c3 and c5/6 ggrove c4 and c5/6.....dont be surprised if they go something like this

It would be hard to say at this stage. Havent really heard much about how they have recruited and whether they have lost any players from last year.

A couple of Owls returning to the Panthers, any players that were likely to go to Angle Vale have already gone. They might pick up one or two fringe A Graders from us, but I'd doubt it, we had a pretty tight knit group in 08, they all seemed pretty happy to stay on.

A few of our players have been heavily pursued by some country clubs, but that happens every year.

I'd suggest Angle Vale, Flinders, Houghton, Mitchell Park, St Pauls, Brahma Lodge (or Henley), North Pines, Ovingham.
possibly Wingfield & Adelaide Uni

I'd suggest SHOC would head to c1 & c5, Athelstone to c2 &c5, smosh to c3 & c5 (unless they stay in div 2 then c2 & c5). I'd also suggest that we may see uni's c1 team head to c2 to reflect the division 2 sides.

Unless of course the saafl bring div 8 & 8res which would see ttg, modbury, golden grove, athelstone, shoc, smosh, adelaide uni, mitcham as the sides with 4 or more grades.

I personally like the reflective system in that it gives c grade players the occasional opportunity to play with the higher grades in triple headers which I'm yet to hear a bad word about.

Finn

Brahma Lodge are definitley in Div 6 & either Houghton or Helnley will be with them - all because of the Edwardstown move
Div 7 will be a mixture as usual

Houghton will not nominate to stay up, have lost players and came last will only be in for another hard season and much the same result unless they can recruit strongly & Henley will not go up exercising their right to stay down being C & D grade sides.

I think you will find that Henley will have to go up if Houghton dont want to stay up - the rule only works if both clubs agree - at least thats how I had it explained to me from a very smart club operator out Salisbury North way

I think that Henley should go up. Why should they stay down in Div 7 just because they are a C & D Grade side? Just because Houghton are an A & B Grade side they should not have to struggle and have another bad season that will only hurt the club. Henley is a big enough club that they could handle going up to Div 6 and finish at the bottom end of the ladder, which I doubt they would as they were good enough to push Paralowie in the GF last season.

My 2 cents worth.
