Actually dutchy bought it up - quote: Who is the Trinity A grader playing this week who hasnt trained all year?

Secret weapon was just a JOKE in reply to name and shame the player and the questions asked.

and well done again to BL A grade good game well played, theyve had a great season so today would have been a very sweet victory.

A regular occurrence this time of year. A team going out knows the other side wont hit back because they dont want to get reported and suspended from playing finals.

As good as a punch to the head from behind - gotta be proud of that - but then again.......they probably are

I was at the BL V TOS game today and first of all would like to congratulate the BL A Grade on making the GF. Great effort by the club and all the players.

My opinion of the B grade game and actions are as follows. IMO to the the BL boys defence (in no way do I condone fighting on the footy field) I believe alot of it came down to frustration. The umpires seemed to change the way they umpired the game randomly. At one stage they would pay silly free kicks and then 5 mins later let the same infringments go. Both umpires appeared to be very different in the way they umpire which does not help with players frustration. I witnessed alot of niggle from both TOS and BL players behind play in the way of holding geurnseys and pushing and shoving but as everybody knows when you are loosing these sort of things seem to get the better of you alot more then if you were winning. Not making excuses but I am sure that no BL player would have liked to have gone out in those circumstances after scrapping into the top 5 and showing some good form leading into the finals.

All the best to all the teams left in the finals and congrats also to Paralowies B grade for booking there spot in the Div6R GF.

Can you please explain why i should be ashamed? im the captain and feel free to say what you will but i was in there breaking up the fight, I shook every players hand once things had calmed down and tried my best to calm both sides down and then went over and talked with a few of your boys after we were changed but i guess if this is something to be ashamed of then so be it. The coach was in there trying to get our guys out of there because that is not what we wanted either and if you know who the president is he would have been in the rooms with the A grade as he is an assistant coach for the A grade not out on the field fighting? Seriously just get your facts a little right before throwing them all over the forum, in saying that I hate as much as anyone what happened and feel it embarrassed the club and i guess that the tribunal will sort out a punishment for those involved.

I dont know who you are but i dont think you should becoming on here and using the words "they probably are". As an A grade palyer i never seen what happened in the b grade but going off what i heard it will will not be accepted and the players involved will be fined/suspended by the club itself. I hope these players take it on board and realise that Brahma Lodge has turned the corner and will not tolerate it any more. The club HAS turned the corner and hopefully in the years to come will be seen as a club that can take both winning and losing with the same gracious stride.

Ryno

P.S. I have had a few tonight so i hope this makes sense

makes sence mate, just next time dont double post :P
And im in agreement with your post, noone condones the actions of what happened today, and as players of the club these boys have defenately lowered our colours to some extent. Some time on the sidelines and watching everyone else play may straighten them out somewhat, and hopefully with what ever consequences are laid down these lads learn their lesson, and comeback knowing that this sort of stuff isn't tolerated.

If you had ever been around the BL football club previously and then again now you would know that the club has turned the corner from where it was a few years ago both on field and off field.

Last year the A grade won 4 games and the B grade won 1. This year the a grade have made the GF and the B grade made finals for the first time in 14 years with the last month and a half of football from the B grade has been fantastic, yesterday things didn't go to plan and it was tarnished by a scuffle at the end of the game.

I would say have turned the corner just not at the finish line yet. Hopefully with in 12 months we, as a club, will be at the finish line.
