I wasn't badmouthing him (if you read underneath I did say he had done some great work with CLG, perhaps you're picking and choosing what you read) and I haven't doomed anyone to failure, I merely stated a fact...I don't know how you guys put up with it.. and at the end of the day, did it help? NO..

perhaps you didnt read all that i said? im stating that if the shoe was on the other foot and clg went through to the gf, paul would of been calm, hope valley lose and i dare say charlie wouldnt of been in the best of moods

He wasnt calm when we played you guys rd 17 and you guys were beating a 6th placed side????

Thought FC description was pretty tame, and quite low key compared to how some could have put it.

All trinity did in round 17 was try and bate CLG players didnt even provide a contest same old same old clg vs trinity a no contest read the scores of last five games clg vs trinity ..correct me if i am wrong dont think trinity As played finals ..thumping walls what a load of garbage Trinity ,if thats the worse u have heard maybe u should be helping the coach of the opals,[/quote]

Oh poor CLG boys did we upset you..... we didnt need to provide a contest more fun watching your boys get all high and mighty so easily bated! And if we were such an easy contest why then were you going nuts at half time? Read back mate didnt say you were the worst i had seen just thought you were a bit over the top in rd 17 and on saturday, I didnt think you were achieving anything saturday except giving HV more reason to enjoy beating you guys even more.

But im sure you would have been pissed and understand your frustration just dont think it does any good to show frustration to the other team.

Im not bagging your coaching skills think you have done a great job with CLG and also think your 2 young lads are not bad footballers so you must be doing something right.

As for me coaching the opals cant say i would complain.

Thanks Scout. Saturday's two wins were a great reward for the players hard work this year. The promotion was a HUGE reward for the club, coaching staff and everyone involved. Getting into div 5 and already having a large under 18 squad with a quality coach at the helm for next year, will go a long way towards future success at HVFC

Well done to the C grade boys on finishing 4th this year. They bowed out in yesterday's 1st Semi Final against TTG. Great effort for the boys to once again play in the finals. Good work big Bazza. All the best to Jeff Lewis who played his last game for the club yesterday (look out for thursday night phone calls next winter mate!!)

I'd say the prelim will be played at Mortlock Park and it's a flip of the coin to pick the winner. WOS bounced back strongly and look to have gathered some momentum, but CLG are no pushover. Whether Harvey plays or not will have some influence on the result.

He'll play, unless he's soft. No big deal playing with stitches a week old.

No, I don't believe there was any injuries. Hopefully HV and CLG smashed each other up a bit though!!
