What's going to happen to Ovingham next year? They surely won't be allowed to field their A grade against other sides D grades. I thought it was a mistake to allow it to happen this year. Does anyone from Ovingham know what is likely to happen? Is the SAAFL pushing for them to have a reserves side and compete in D8 and 8R? Are you likely to have the numbers for this to be an option?
Could Ovingham compete in D8 and have Wingfield as their D8R counterpart like Ovies did with Districts this year?

Without going back over the pages, I believe that thier plan is to have two sides next season so would either mean playing Div 7 or fielding a Div 8 and Div 8R side, IMO they would and probably should start in Div 8 unless someone like Broadview would want to come back down next year.

Cheers Tex. Yea I wouldn't think it would really be fair to have Ovingham in D8R for another year given their results this season.

other pressures may finally put them out of business just as they were about to grow as a club
