I agree, a great little player.

I too spoke to Josh a couple weeks ago and wasnt sure if he was playing or not, the kid can play although isnt a massive fan of the training track.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the behind the play "king hit" he put on Marshall in the first final against Seaton which broke his jaw?
If so 10 games is probably not enough.

"King Hit" turn it up..... to the best of my knowledge no club suspension was handed down to any player last year from the hawks. Rankine was the target of many sides last year and all came off second best... just like marshall....

Are you kidding yourself blue, it was the biggest king hit ever marshall running past him ball 20m away and pop, unprovoked. Spineless coward mate he should be banned for more than 10. Turn it up were you even at the same game!!! From what i hear anyway he might be missing alot more than 10 and good save someone else from getting their jaw smashed by this coward.

If this is in fact the case and Rankine has been suspended before, he may not have even been registered this year, under the 12 gmes and you're out rule..

the league will usually release a list of players with suspensions left to serve as of round 1. His name should be on that unless it was the result of an investigation, not tribunal..

It could of well been an ivestigation chicky.
Blues08 you obviously have no idea, you were there were you? walk'n around with your eyes closed as usual.
Only time he had some closer attention was the 2nd final against Seaton, didn't see any one from Seaton come off 2nd best that day Bluey, i did see rankine play wide all day tho, infact he was on the playground trying to hide, aswell as trying to hitch a ride on the boulavard thats how wide he was, absolutely sh!tt!ng himself.
Was probably a relief for him to get home eventually & change those jocks, without a stat to his name.

Chances are if it were 20m off the play and no umpires report was made, then the only way any suspension would have applied was from one club filing an investigation.

That's how it happened with Mr Rex (damn! I wasn't gonna bring that up #-o  )

Club reports do nothing due to the SAAFL being spinless..... Matthew Jolly had his eye socket fractured behind the play and nothing came from it......

As for Rankine if its happening off the field aswell as on, theirs a good chance he won't be playing at all.
That wouldn't be such a bad thing!!

An investigation took place and the bloke accused of belting him got 5 games.. despite it being a retaliation after Jolly kicking him in the balls first..
