38 goals at the half way mark is still a pretty good effort!! Think he has also sepnt some time in the midfield. From what I have seen of Districts they seem to have a 2 prong attack with Christofis and Peucker, seems if one doesn't kick a bag the other one does!

Correct Shaz, Peucker has spend time in the middle and Christofis doesnt pass to often!
Kingsley Ware has also kicked about 20 as has Tosold, so theres a fair few goal kickers that need to be looked after by the opposition. Nothing wrong with Peuckers form Down&Out.

very close comp at the moment....i hear the ramblers are quietly confident that they can turn their dismal finals performance around later in the year. for those that follow the b grade, adam stinky elliott has come back without a helmet after getting knocked out about 20 times in the past 4 years including one haul of 3 times in 3 weeks. if your a betting man mickey elliott is taking bets that he'll get knocked out this week against payneham in the first five mins and if your a payneham player when a stinky freckle faced bloke comes off the bench deviate off the line and go straight through him

What ever happened to young Ben Williams from Payneham? Heard he was a bit of a gun but haven't seen him playing for a good month now? Interesting to know...

G'day Lethal

Willie has had a foot injury all year which unfortunately may even see him not play for the rest of the year, which is a shame cos he's a great kid, and you're right, a bit of a gun...

Falcon Chick-

Just worked out sat night that new guy we've had playing for us in teh last month was from PNU.

Danny Bowyer. Good set of hands and doesn't mind a goal. Kicked 3 against Walkerville on the weekend.

How he'd go for you guys?

I normally watch footy in the hills but ventured down to watch a couple of mates play in amatuers on the weekend - without a matchday budget how does an outsider find out players names??? In the hills we have a weekly budget (which I believe most country leagues do) so you can see player names, numbers, ladder, goal kickers etc. Do the SAAFL do anything like this??

Gimpy, as you can appreciate, there are FAR too many teams in the Amateur League to warrant a budget.

I know at our club we make our own little budget which is more like a team sheet with both clubs on it but does the job nonetheless.

Not sure what other clubs do...

We do the same, has our A, B and C grade team sheets with last week best players and goalkickers, as well as the ladders and stuff. Only has our club though.

Where were they on Sat FC? I didn't see any (prob didn't look hard enough!!). Do away teams bring one aswell or do clubs only supply one for home games?

Does anyone from Seaton know if they do one?

Ours are usually available from the canteen or up in the bar.... and would have had both teams on it.. our could have goalkickers etc.. on it, but to tell you the truth I've never seen one! I dont get time, and I already know who everyone is anyway...

Port Districts normally have a budget type of thing. Either at the bar, canteen and an official normally wanders around handing them out. Sometimes has the opposition team, I suppose it depends if they forward Districts a team list in time :)

When a team is picked on a Thursday night they should be put into IScore straight away. From there the team manager can print of a report which has both sides named. If the manager just photocopied that, least the supporters would know who is who.
A fair few of the amateur sides list their team on their web-site on the Friday which is also handy.
