Only training i need is on my playstation 'AFL live 2011'.

Coach doesnt mind as long as i record my results so he can get an idea of my form before saturdays main game

its quite beneficial and i encourage all clubs to adopt the strategy

during the winter our teams actually dont train. We just have playstation parties instead. When we are playing away, we switch xbox to simulate the foreign environment

training is what they used to do last century. Dont do it

ya nugs

I have on good authority that North Pines have recruited Luke Tulloch from Salisbury. They would want to get a loan for all the sun block they'll have to buy, as with hair that red, he is sure to be in the high risk catergory of sun burn week in week out!!!

this all should be on a thread alot higher up the league
truely understand clubs and coaches ect trying to get the best out of their players but lets be real
the fitness is of course a great benifit as well as strenght flexability ect but lets be real
the guys playing down at this level is for the love of the game
they work,have families and commitments
if you can get them to one training your doing well, esp if its all on the same night
you need to manage players not burn them
and the main thing that no one has mentioned is not the fitness, strenght ect but the fact that if they dont know how to get the pill and what to do with it,your waisting your time
talent comes naturally, not trined or drummed into them but discipline, which is what wins games is another matter
and at this level, what a coach says to a player is normally forgotten before the coach even finishes

I can see why you are coaching Ovingham, a one team club with this stupid post.
Wouldn't have me at your club for long with this mentality.

hope this post was pointed at me and not the club
if ats at me i dont have a problem but the club is very serious both on and off the field
they do take their footy serious and all the blokes do what they can but i am also realistic to what they can and can not do
i would think you would change your ideas on the club if you were to come down but with you being at the lakers i am sure you are in great hands so good luck

The Mitchell Park Lions resume training for their 2012 challenge on Tuesday 17th Jan. New players welcome to add to the already strong list of new recruits. Good fortune to all clubs this year and may we all prove Div 7 is right up there.

Well everyone says new recruits this time of year, but never mentions anything of names and where from, so is it just preseason dribble.

So who in their right mind would put them on here? Ain't no dribble BP wizard so you will just have to wait and see. [-(

It's like the Chinese whispers too .... Each person that finds out , the player spoken about generally gets better and better until round one and they struggle to get a touch of the sherrin

After talk of him maybe going to Gumeracha I've now heard Mawson Lakes B grade ruckman Dean Nisbet has been lured to Angle Vale this year. With Burgess leading the ruck at The Owls this would make the best ruck combo in Div 7 if true.

DKL i think you'll find GUM's will be all over Nisbet again as they (Thomo) thought he still had Bellmen so he went cold on Nisbet but now Bellmen is definaitly at Central United Thomo will be back onto Nisbet.

From what i have heard the $150 a game at Gums wasn't enough for Nisbett as this included training 2 nights a week and Sat, money would barely cover fuel from Angle Vale 3 times a week to Gums.

Jubba could not commit to coaching the B grade this year but is staying at the club. Derek Newchurch took on the B grade coaching job but unfortunately has had to pull out.
