You got to be kidding 1Eyed, not make Districts A grade my ass.
He'll take one of your wings no problem,
The 1st game v Districts 2007 he was best on ground in my opinion, because Delaney & John Wilson from Dist were 2 of 3 voters Perry got the nod.

thats crap we have two good wingman in smart and sampson from the magpies, in my opinion and a few others he will struggle. Good luck to him anyway, u have to make a good impression before roger picks ya anyway. He may prove me wrong if he does sign with Districts.

Roger knows the value in Kelly 1Eyed, with no Jamieson & Sampson playing at Port, guess who will fill one of your wings?? yes Kelly.
Its like Christofis, why did Roger work so hard recruiting him? He needed a CHF big time.
Are you going to say (no he came to us) like the rest of the Seaton recruits?yeah yeah.
He needs 4-5 good players on top of last years & they'll play finals.
Its a pity Districts target mostly one club in Seaton.
Thats not crap!

Goodwood Saints

Postby luvayarn » Fri Jan 25, 2008 7:38 am

Just interested to know how many players Goodies have lost from their premiership side of 2007, have heard they lost a few including the Wilson boys whom i believe can both go ok. Have they gone down to the Goolwa/Pt Elliot Saints ?

Can confirm both the wilson boys are playing for the Goolwa/Pt Elliot saints this year. Unsure on who else has left Goodies.

sampson is playing with districts so his a new recruit who will play on a wing. Jamo was a back pocket so it Kelly wants to play there he is welcome to. Yes we did need a CHF, we dont need anymore wingman. But hey the more players the better and i di agree that they need 4-5 decent players to make the finals. Big fellas that is.

Goodwood might be lucky if one of their senior players makes it back on the track immediately after the Australia Day break.
Holidaying in his home region, it would seem he got incredibly burnt to blistering point on Saturday, then required stitches to a knee after stumbling over a peg. He later apparently got attacked by a number of wasps. What a weekend!

His brother is a poster here, can he confirm the story! ;)

Gee Roger not happy losing one to Cash Haven, could you imagine how he'd feel losing 5 like Seaton did to Pt Dist.

Wouldn't think that 2 nights training was all that much though!!

Many other departures from Districts??? Don't agree with taken players from other clubs in the same division. Why not look for gems in lower Div's that could make it at a higher level?

A few mates work full time and are also doing their CPA or CA training full time. So life can get pretty busy, but if you can't train 2 nights a week you shouldn't go to another club for $$$, how about just playing ressies??

If you can't train 2 nights you don't play, simple as that, or play Bs.
Depends on your passion for the club.
Lower clubs-A4 would let players of A1 standard get away with it, but what damage would it cause to the club when some team-mates get there nose out of joint?
It only takes one as you know, before the white ants congregate.
