It's a never-ending argument, if Smithfield were playing Plympton at Plympton in would make sense for the Smithfield umpire to umpire at Kenilworth, Henley or Mitchell Park. The logistics would be a nightmare but it would be achievable, apparently I make 50 errors a game on average.

That means you would not be able to do any of Central United or Angle Vale games! LM :)

Probably taken out of context EM so cant really be used to build an argument.

Was just playing - I like the idea of non club umpires thats the reason we are doing it with our C Grade - it takes away the perception of cheating

Yeah my bad, I meant PHOS, I get them two ovals mixed up, Glandore could be another one in the vicinity. I know what I meant anyway zed, logic is over-rated ;) .

A huge battle looms as 3rd plays 4th at Hope Valleys home deck. Hope Valley play their home ground very well but it is quite similar to Argana Park. After two consecutive losses the Valleys will be keen to get back in the winners circle, a few injuries atm are hurting them and this will be a tough gig for them to try and hold that double chance.
The Eagles had another impressive day on Saturday as they regained 4 quality players, keeping their talented line-up on the park will be the key for them to be successful this season. Their experience will be a major factor this week to not be daunted by the Hope Valley ground that the Valley's haven't lost on this season so far.
Previous Encounters
Round 2 2010 @ Argana Park: Elizabeth 19.10(124) def. Hope Valley 15.11(101)
Round 15 2009 @ Argana Park: Hope Valley 17.10(112) def. Elizabeth 16.14(110)
Round 8 2009 @ Hope Valley: Hope Valley 18.9(117) def. Elizabeth 8.17(65)

 Could you please elaborate LM..?

I think it's a similar sized oval as in length and width, it has a turf wicket in a similar spot that bogs a large majority of the centre square up (and in a similar position, more to the western side of the square).

I'd love to buy some land off you if you think Hope Valley is a similar size to Argana Park

Well you've obvioulsy played there more times, I don't think Argana is that long, I've played there at least twenty times and countless amounts of cricket games.

If some galah from another div jumped on here and started throwing barbs at your club would you shake hands with them FC?

Hollywood on the rampage! some big comments directed at PFC I would have to say things arent as rosy on and off the field at the kennel as a few on here would have u think. As with alot of footy clubs there are alot of people with different agendas and when the team is losing these seem to come to the surface alot more. I too have been present when a couple of new players have been givin a mouthful from long time club people while they were sitting at the bar hardly what you want to happen if the club wants these guys to stick around(this has happened twice)but a win this weekend and all of a sudden the supporters are back on your side, thats the fickle nature of supporters

Thats the thing as it has always been with plympton and the bar flies that have been there for years including jabber they would rather bag the players than actually support them. Funny thing is how many A grade games has he played 1 i think and it was the funniest thing ive ever seen. And Jabber is a hypocrite bags the team then when someone speaks up he has a has a dig at them for telling it how it is. Classic classic classic

Symo coached up Roxby way before he went to coach Plympton the first time.
Has only missed the finals as a coach twice and that was when he was up at Lobethal for 2 years. Quality coach who deserves alot morre respect than he is getting.
