Every Club has its moments
Every club has its doubters and knockers
Wouldnt be a footy or sports club around that doesnt

Thing you need to look at is Plympton have not been in this position for years
They not use to it, really they are 3 and 7
They had 3 or 4 years of playing finals footy with prelims
Only so many chances you can fail at before they run out!
Someone has to come 6-10th!
Unfortunatley for Plympton might be them this year
In saying that there is 8 games to go
Some like to say Arrogant, I like to say confident.

I havent spent much time at the club on saturday nights this year because i've moved out to marino, so i havent encountered any new players being blamed, or being made unwelcome. Having been around the place all my life i find the concept of making people feel unwelcome at the club as a bit of a head scratcher. As plympton tends to welcome people with open arms.

I dunno, the whole thing about our psoition at the moment is a <edited by mods - please don't avoid the swear filter> head scratcher!

some interesting stuff about Plympton being said!!!
For a team like that not to be winning more games there must be unrest. My opinion - Not everyone has to be best mates or even like each other but we play football to win premierships not for the individual but for the team and the club and the way the dogs are going at the moment thats not going to happen.

Dogs have 8 games to earn some respect back from their own supporters and a win on saturday puts all the knives at bay for another week. The fact of the matter is supporters can handle 1 or 2 or maybe three loses but when the team is seriously expected to challenge for the premiership and only wins 3 of the first 9 games (no matter how close the loses are) questions begin to be asked.

I also believe that some of the new players being blamed for the teams poor form have actually only played 3 or 4 games so maybe it is the existing players who aren't up to it!

Can i just also say that in the B grade last Saturday against Smithfield, that you, LM, are by far the best umpire going around in that grade! Its good to have someone make good decisions both ways for the whole game!
I'm proud of you fellas. You all kept your head on a swivel, and that's what you gotta do when you find yourself in a vicious cock fight!

Cheers mate, I try my best to take a neutral stance, it would be far easier doing games I have no affiliation with.

Was just playing - I like the idea of non club umpires thats the reason we are doing it with our C Grade - it takes away the perception of cheating

It's a never-ending argument, if Smithfield were playing Plympton at Plympton in would make sense for the Smithfield umpire to umpire at Kenilworth, Henley or Mitchell Park. The logistics would be a nightmare but it would be achievable, apparently I make 50 errors a game on average.

That means you would not be able to do any of Central United or Angle Vale games! LM :)
