Tell your friend to press criminal charges if he feels that badly about it.
If he chooses to let sleeping dogs lie, then so should you, or otherwise one day it will come back to bite you in the arse because someone from your club will screw up and you lot will be the first to ark up if anyone dare says anything bad about your club.
You are not the tribunal, nor are you a judge or a jury.
As far as I'm concerned, if it hasn't been pulled in by the league it's a non event.
Sometimes bad things happen in footy.
Rubbish. I have never nor will ever defend anyone who does that on the field my club included. Tell the guy with a broken jaw it's a non event. Only issue I have with Salsbury is if he kid plays tomorrow, they know what happened and agreed it was not on. On the day they handled it well and I have no vendetta against the club, in all my time of playing them this is the only time anything dirty has happened.
I just think that to just label this as another GG whinge is not warranted. We have a guy with a broken jaw and this doesn't just happen, it's not Salisburys fault at all, they didn't send anyone out to do it, I wishwe had pushed to have it seen by the SAAFL and as I said not sure why we didn't. Tell me that you wouldn't feel the same if a HV lad came to you with a broken jaw?
