Poor form from our guy but let me get this straight bfore I fall off the couch again.

A Broadview supporter passing judgement on another clubs supporters behaviour.

Is this the same Broadview Football Club who plays in Division 1 against the Gepps Cross Football Club and was charged with racial vilification earlier in the year. :Hangman: :Hangman:

Let's get back on topic boys. Not long til finals, Reds are pumped for Saturday against Brodie's, two big games in both grades. Ds first game in 3 weeks, but they have been pushing hard on the track so they won't be under done. Massive game for the cs, hope it doesn't rain between now and sat, park 9 is not in the best nick.

When is park 9 in good nick ;) We are hoping Broadview knock you boys off and we get up over Salisbury, good chance we will steal 3rd then! Never in my life would I have thought that I would be happy seeing Broadies win!

It's a quick out field in cricket season ;) . I wonder which Salisbury will turn up to your game. The vs Mitcham or the vs PAOC.? Hopefully the one that played us.

So, barring any upsets this weekend the first round of finals will be as follows;

Qualifying Final - Broadview v Golden Grove
Elimination Final - Prince Alfred v Adelaide Uni

Will Div 8 finals games be played on Sundays??

Anyone from Tigerland know if you guys will pay to have QF on your home deck?

I think that they are down to be played on Sunday, but I was told that Broadies will be requesting a Saturday game at home, I think the oval may not be available on Sundays.

Suits me, Mondays after a Sunday game blows!

Hefty a surprise inclusion first or second final we hope!

I havent seen your ladder so not sure how this affects you guys in terms of where you can finish on the ladder for the 10 goal win instead of potentially a 20 goal win, for example...

The win is the thing for them. Golden Grove to finish 3rd.
always forgive your enemies...nothing annoys them so much

Two awsome wins by our C's and D's yesterday over PAOC. The 3's played their best game of the year and obviously had their best win of the year to end the year on a good note. As for the 4's, their win sees them sneak into 5th spot and will play Broadview in the elmination final next Saturday, a fantastic achievement by all involved in our D grade with this being the first season ever where North Haven has had a D grade.

Not up yet I believe but pretty sure that Broadview V GGFC will be at Broadview on Saturday.

The early game will be Broadview V Salisbury I believe?

Would leave PAOC and UNI on Sunday. With the sides playing off in the res games too,

Was just what someone from Broadview told me, why wouldn't it be on a Saturday if they requested it? They finished second and have the right to host a final, not sure they can use their oval on a Sunday, could be wrong. Why they cant just say at the start of the season all of the C grade comp finals will be played on a Sunday and be done with it, it is a pain not knowing till 4 days out. I had to plan my sons 5th birthday party months in advance, knew it was this weekend but cant say which day, this is my problem I know but other people have things that need to be planned around the day also.

I know that Broadview have the oval available on the Saturday so why would it need to be on the Sunday unless they don't want to host the game?

C and D Grade finals have been on a Sunday for as long as I can remember
The reason they are on a Sunday is that especiall week 1 of the finals with D1 & D1R still playing that there are not enough field umpires to do all grades

Imagine club umpires doing finals

understand that, then why would the PAOC and UNI game be a Saturday and not the Broadview and GGFC game? Surely, if Broadview being the highest placed side in this comp requested a game and there are umpires available (assuming PAOC and UNI have SAAFL appointed umpires for the Saturday game) they should get first preference?? obviously I would prefer Saturday ;)
