Mine goes as follows.

Goodwood - same old story, who can beat them?
Henley - good pick ups, will get it together this year, big scores ahead
Gepps X - around the mark always, will push for top 2 but question over team cohesion still
TTG - Maybe not as strong as last year but definately a force still
Broadview - solid core group, experience should give the edge in important games
Gaza - many recruits but maybe time for a lean season
PNU - haven't heard much on recruits, will prove tough but lack the finishers
Sals Nth - rumour of lots of players gone, how will they bounce back
Pt Districts - good form last year, steed and others missing will prove bigger lose than thought
SHOC - Won't have the cattle

All this will change after pre season but hey, Just an opinion, lets here yours..........

I wonder how their discussion went yesterday with an ex AFL/SANFL gun player.

Yeah, heard that one too. I'm sure the Gaza Wednesday Arvo Bingo Cheque Book was close at hand.

Your information is correct LF, Chris has indicated he will not be playing at Gepps Cross in 2010, I believe he has booked himself an overseas trip and will not be available until late June .
He has a couple of crook knees but would still be great value to any club if he decides to have a kick when he returns.
Chris has been terrific for the Gepps Cross Football Club, a Premiership player, a B&F winner and Runnerup on many occasions, we wish him well in whatever he chooses to do.
He will always be welcome at the home of the Gepps Cross Rams, many thanks #41

Always enjoyed watching him go about this business when playing us, well done

Brenton Reidy trained with Mawson Lakes tonight but don't worry Goody fans it is purely for fitness reasons due to him living near the club and the fair trek it would be all the way out to Goodwood....Certainly looks like a classy player, would be a big loss even to their A's if he's just gonna be B grade next season. Will no doubt benefit our younger guys when he does train with us so they can see how the best in the league go about their business, top bloke aswell.

Matty Gibson is indeed back in the red & black next year. A pretty handy pick up and should cover the loss of Brunoli.

you guys should b around the mark again but i reckon these 2 guys are in a different weight division. Gibbo is a good player but not the same explosive power and game breaking ability IMO. hope Brunoli plays a full yr out at Norwood..

If Div one is as good as you guys say it is Gibson wont win you a flag. He has been one of waikeries better players but not uncontrollable by any means. Seems to be a front runner and easily tagged due to his size. Didn't even win B & F at waikerie or even look like winning a medal out here.

Slapsy, unless I've missed some ground breaking news release, Bruno is playing at Meningie for close to $1K per game, not Norwood so a full season down there will be worth a tidy sum.

Aceman,
Sorry if I was not clear - I was talking about gibson. Brunoli must be a good player according to this site and I dont think gibson will nowhere near cover him. I reckon some guys posts back about 5 pages were overating him a fair bit.

Dawson back from his stint in Pt Augusta and will be a massive boost to the club too. Great to have two lads that have previous Gully experience back at the club.

Nothing escapes you Paccy!!

Any other rumours you need confirmed??

Try and redeem myself here fellas. I read the above posts back a few pages and was just stating that I thought Gibson was overrated for Div 1 even though I have never seen a Div one game I think he would struggle. We have seen Pete Smith out our way last year and he was a class above and no doubt not the best Div 1 player going around.

I agree my past post was a bit gobbildy gook!!
