EB any truth in the story that an ex Centrals player who lives quite close to the oval might pull on the Rams jumper next season? His mates are all there now I believe.
Now that is just plain dumb, don't you think?

cannot name him because i didn't see him, was only told. probably passed playing in div 1 , but if he is around the area , they could use him in a 'mentoring' role to the blokes that play in his position . [ eg Jimmy, if he returns ]

just having a rough guess TBS but i would say it would be big joe rack. has a lad playing juniors at gx and helped rams a grade ruckman out a couple of years ago, and lives just around the corner. and by the way it is a very slow jog i might add

Joe Rack, there's a name from the past. I went to the same primary school as Joe, that was back in the water polo days......

Dont bet on Peter Smith being at Gepps X next season. Looking for a change maybe. Had enough of the guys getting huge coin and him not enough??????. Guessing Pete might not be a Ram in 09 unless serious coin thrown at him by the Aceman and Co

EBD, not sure who you've been talking to but........Firstly, Pete Smith would be the most looked after bloke to EVER play footy at Gepps. The only thing that has never been done for him is having me and others jumping through a burning hoop and then swimming 10 laps in a shark infested pool. We value Peter Smith as a player and he is paid accordingly.
Secondly, this story does the footy circuit at this time every year, not sure who starts it but if you were aware of what the Gepps Cross footy club has done for Pete you'd see things in a different light.
I could write a book on the life and times of Pete, but that's between him and the club, if he decides to walk, that's his choice and he has done it before but the reason you have given is that far off the mark it ain't funny.

Incidentally, I have nothing to do with player payments

Ricky butler signed with Gaza so no Salis nth. Giant ruckman King from South Adelaide to Goodwood and Kendrick Tyrell returning. Some big names and some big, big boys. Wakelin, King, Tyrell - 5 in a row by the looks. Where do they find the money tree???? - More south boys on the way to Goodwood Oval according to Mills. All this from a club that does not pay much!!!!! - Illman wont come up and knee gone for good, Spencer, Polly, Klemmy all going round again
