I think Div 5 is a great standard of footy especially in years like this year. But i agree with Boosh. Fully fit and firing he could be a Div 1 player easily and would indeed carve up a couple higher divisionsBoosh wrote:unknown source wrote:jointman wrote:what happened to wattsy...pity he wasn't a few yrs younger and a healthy body...would dominate div5
yeh because div 5 is only child's play isn't it
Div 5 is certainly not childs play but that doesn't make jointmans statement any less right. With a good knee Wattsy would destroy Div 5 Div 4 and Div 3....., when we were last in Div 5 he was unstoppable and the year before he was unstoppable in Div 1. State Amatuer player while still a teenager I believe, you would be hard pressed to find a club in the top 2 divisions (outside of college clubs), most top country clubs and a few league clubs that haven't tried to get him at some point.

ive never seen wattsy at full flight, but from what i heard he was just a average player in div 1, cause of hsi sight the back man would blind side him everytime.
I must admit if fit would easily carve up div 5 and 4 and would be a very handy player in div 3 and 2.
Not good to hear about the knee, having had a recon, I can understand what sort of pain he would have put himself through to play with a bad knee. Thats a huge loss for havens, not only not having him but as others have said, he is the heart of that club.
Gonna make things 10x harder to stay in div 5 without him.

North Haven v Blackfriars OS: Season on the line against a depleted North Haven, the blacks by 31 points.
Smithfield v Hope Valley: Conditions to suit the home side, Smithfield by 28 points.
Adelaide Lutheran v Hectorville: Can't go past the quality of Hectorville, the hounds by 19 points.
Rosewater v Brahma Lodge: The Dogs by 12 points at home to really tighten up the comp.

Im only going on what I was told LMA
I know he can play but I got told when he was in div 1, he struggled a bit cause he was always blind sided by his oposition player. just what i was told mate.
Ive seen the guy play twice in my life so cant comment on personal viewing. one time though I seen him do a front flip as he tried to attack a 5ft 5 18yr old in a fight. that was funny

Im tipping it to be a high scoring game that could go either way looks like both sides will be near full strength so should be a Cracker of A game with plenty on the line for both clubs dogs by 4 goals. Also think smithfield will cause an upset against valleys!

I'm pretty sure Argana Park will be fairly chewed up, especially if it's the 3rd game for the day, that's why I was suggesting a low scoring affair.

He won a B&F at Port Districts and played in the state team.......I'm pretty sure that means dominating Div 1.
PS. Both LMA and I played those couple of years there as well and saw him play.......take it from me......he could play!!!
