Disgrace and we get dished a 3 game ban, which i can handle(however the player has no recollection of the incident due to being hit behind play) but what bugs me is that HFC player did the exact same thing!!! Saw both incidents and there wasn't much difference....... SAAFL poor form!!!!
from what I saw they were completely different. I saw your player get the free for the behind the play incident and I'm pretty sure he didn't fall to ground let alone get knocked out.
The hectorville incident was a wrestle between both players and we had photo evidence to prove that. Both players were on the ground and had hold of each other. The heccies player didn't just punch the plmypton player in the head out of nowhere with the umpire 1m away.
he got knocked out behind play in the 1st quarter, by one of your players behind the play... He went to hospital at Half time, has no memory of the incident.as i stated earlier... Did you take the photo of your player hitting our bloke in the side of the head, with a clinched fist... That's what he was reported for!!! im not denying what are player did was rite, not cool. Our players should've stopped him before it happened.... However ive seen the report sheets from the umpire and they are just about identical....
I think you should save your crying for your mummy and maybe get your facts straight before you jump on here and bad mouth the saafl. The hectorville player did not get off . I was within metres of the incident involving the hectorville player and there was nothing in it a bit of push and shove a few jumper punches and a wrestle thats it nothing reportable and it was just a waste of time sending him to the tribunal. From what i saw no.8 for plympton started it and should have been reported for a deliberate elbow to the head. Plympton had a chance to beat us and probably would have if they were focused on the ball and not focused on roughing up our better players.
